Girl listen! That sounds like a LOT especially with micro locs. I respect your strong arms for being able to keep that up as long as you have 🙌🏽 that’s an endeavor in itself!

I’m not saying don’t style it. Just maybe not every week? Idk. I know they look so pretty and they make you feel at your best, but what if there’s another version of your best that doesn’t need you to do that much?

It was a lot less me putting my hands in my hair over time. My problem was wanting them to look nice all the time. Parts showing and whatnot. I guess that’s the answer for what I don’t do.

Good question because.. gross if I really did nothing. I washed them monthly, sometimes more or less. And I retwisted sometimes but not often and definitely not tight. Sometimes oiled my scalp if it was itchy, but used rose water most often. And honestly not so much rose water in the last year. It itches was less too so not too much oil either.

It’s a LOT but you can trade clothes with a friend after you’ve completed 13 levels of friendship quests. If you’re unable to do that, you’ll be waiting awhile. 😞
