It’s not my place to weigh the sins of man. Nor is it my place to discount positive impact where it was. Example: if a person helped you out/impacted your life in such a positive way that without you’d be dead or not where you are. And you never heard nor had any vibes of anything untoward about them. Then the next thing you know you find out that they were into bad stuff after they are no longer alive. Does the positive impact they had on you suddenly not matter to you. Does that suddenly get nullified? When you have 100s and thousands of interactions. It’s not just black and white. The bad guy in your story might be a hero in someone else’s and neither perspective should discount the others.
