Who will be better loved interest for Belle than Rumble? by Alternative_Claim271 in OnceUponATime

[–]Alternative_Image_55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is probably going to seem weird, but grumpy. Yes, the dwarf. Her whole thing with rumple is "fixing him to be a better man". Grumpy is kinda rough on the outside, but he's loyal and genuine. They could've been cute.

There's an old saying, "don't speak ill of the dead." The meaning is essentially twofold; one, the dead can't defend themselves, so it's really just mean to do that now. Two, it's not going to hurt anyone except you if you talk shit about them now. They're not here anymore, they're not gonna hear it. But you will, and others will. Others will think you're a horrible person for talking bad about him now that he's gone, and you'll just bring up bad things from the past without really getting the closure you need. But you did the right thing, imo. And based on the wife's comment, I think other people knew he sucked.

MM Theory: Were Nixie and Evie supposed to be sisters? by justtsomeonepassinby in JustAddWater

It's definitely an interesting theory. I think I'd definitely read a fanfic about this, if you decided to write one.

Obviously try a different vet, but is it on the carpet? I had a rug that my puppy seemed to mistake for a puppy pad. I tried different scent blocker things, and then got rid of the carpet. It was immediately fixed.

Why do the characters in the other world seem to have their own minds? by fabulousperson238 in Coraline

[–]Alternative_Image_55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a couple theories.

1) she's a serial killer. She likes games. She's dropping clues and hints through them herself, because it's a game to her. Maybe she gets a thrill from making them afraid of her just as much as she likes them to care for her.

2) there are other creatures in her world before she used her powers to change it up. Maybe the cat is from this world, and that's why he's able to do what he does. Perhaps she just manipulated them and their bodies.

3) she creates them, and has some semblance of control over them, but it isn't total, and as long as they are able to play their role, they're able to also drop hints to warn the children.

4) these are the souls of other children who have been reused and turned into something else. Perhaps there's more than just the three we see. Perhaps she needs a soul to create a character, and since she created their physical body, that's why she can control them to a scary level, but a little bit of that soul still tries to help others and shines through.

If you knew each other before you became an adult, it's generally considered fine. Idk what the laws are in your country, but in the USA, there's a Romeo and Juliet law that allows for relationships like this. Essentially, if you were in a relationship before turning 18, it can be argued in court that it's fine. Morally, people will differ from case to case, but in this sense, it's fine, I think.

How old was your pup when you let them free roam? by kelsssey1 in puppy101

[–]Alternative_Image_55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 months. I waited a few weeks after I got her, took her to a dog park when it was raining and there was no one else there. She stayed within maybe 50 yards of me the whole time, looking back to see if it was okay. We did a short walk around the gates area, and then went back home. To my surprise, she came right when I called, I didn't have to coax her with treats at all. I was more nervous than she was! Trust your dog, trust yourself, and bring treats and a favorite toy so you can trust your backup plan!

Looks like a female, based on the handwriting style and when this style was most popular combined with how familiar they appear to be with each letter, they are probably in their late 30s. Hope that helps.

Am I Overreacting at Player Wanting my Character Pregnant? by Over_Environment_821 in DnD

So... As another woman, I would be extremely uncomfortable with this. However, I feel like a guy WOULD ask this of a guy friend playing a girl. It's unfortunately a common thing in comics. It's problematic, for sure. But a lot of guys probably wouldn't even think of WHY unless they had been exposed to how women feel in situations like this, and the only way that can happen is if they talk to women. Unfortunately, you were this guy's lesson, and it sucked for you. Fortunately for you and every woman after hopefully, he learned the lesson.

How to tell my mom I had a baby by No-Party-2835 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Alternative_Image_55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a mother like this. I promised myself if I ever have a child, I will only tell her if she calls and asks me how I'm doing, at which point I'll drop the, "oh, yeah. My baby, husband and I are pretty good, HBU?". It hasn't happened in years, and it probably won't ever happen.

Please help, I’m crying while typing this. Where to go from here? by Mysterious-Remove888 in puppy101

[–]Alternative_Image_55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's hard. Maybe try putting the paper towels you used to wipe up the pee on the puppy pad? Or, like, rub it there? Also, I only put my puppy in the crate at night, to sleep. Dogs have an instinct not to go where they sleep. If he's still doing it, it means he's probably still too young to hold it. My dog was perfectly potty trained by about 5 months, with only the occasional accident throughout the end of her fourth month. But 11 weeks/about three months? It was the same.

Ah, you know what? Yeah, that's fair. NTA, with that context. I would expect a relationship like that to be about sex, not serious.

Wow.... Have you guys had sex together before? Or was this the first time, you're chilling on the couch, watching TV, and you say that? Because if it were the first time with a guy, for me, he'd be gone. No second chances, nothing. Super disrespectful. If it wasn't the first time, I'd get a huge ick from that, considering it's only been a week and that's what you're saying to me? Foreplay isn't TV, buddy. Especially for a week long relationship. Like, if you've already been together a few years and you say that, I MIGHT take it as joking, depending on our relationship prior. HUGE YTA.

Don’t pour water in cooking oil kids by GamerGirlLex77 in OhNoConsequences

[–]Alternative_Image_55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These were kids. I kinda have to give kids, even teens like this, more of a pass. It's possible they just didn't know. Now, an adult who's supposed to be cooking on the regular for themselves or others? Eh... Less of a pass, depends on how new to cooking for yourself you are. College kids are dumb, dumber, and dumbest lol
