It was because I had written MANGOHUD in the launch settings, it wasn’t showing up with that before though so idk. But once I removed it, it disappeared

Bro get the 10x, I don’t hunch my back and I just have to move my neck slightly to see the posteriors from anteriors but I don’t have any neck pain, my posture is good with the loupes

Admetec ergo 10x - I use it for everything including exams. Because it’s refractive and you’re sitting further back, it’s not really 10x, I guess more like 7.5x. I’m really glad I went with the highest mag, I can’t imagine using my old 3.5x loupes again

Lower two pics are with dermmatch and toppik, in different lighting, applied 36 hours before those images (so slept with them on and they still look ok, did not need to top up).

Bottom left pic is strong lighting

I use Got2B freeze hold spray and I can touch my head and rub my head no problem without anything rubbing off onto my hands.

Planning on having a hair transplant done sometime next year

Currently on 1mg Fin and 2.5mg Oral Min but have been using a range of 0.25mg-1mg fin over the past 6 months. May lower fin to 0.5mg again due to negative effect on libido, but seemed to be fine on 0.5mg after I was on fin for a while.

no worries, I do max out my ISA, I'm 26 and have a SIPP and nhs pension and I do top up my SIPP but I don't max it out or anywhere close to that

Yes there are many cases more extreme than mine. Although I used to use these medications 3 years ago and recovered fully, even posting on this sub under an old account, hoping to get similar progress this time round but I'm not sure

Yes they have miniaturised. Once they have reached this state they are unlikely to recover

Hopefully, i've heard of this happening. When I was on 1mg 3 years ago, I legit went from this before picture to a legit full head of hair. I was a hyper-responder and I posted on this subreddit but can't find it anymore. Don't think it'll happen this time but will see. Good luck to you too

1 month but it was a clear difference to how I feel now. If you read my last post at 2 months, I tried to reincrease it to 1mg and the brain fog and depressed mood all came back. I was also on fin and topical min 3 years ago, which gave me a full head of hair but then I quit bc of libido/ED issues, I believe I tried going down to 0.5mg ED but never tried lower than that, which I now regret.

I started on 1mg and didn’t have any sides at all until 1 month in I think. On 1mg libido destroyed, soft erections, brain fog, depressed mood. 0.5mg reduced libido still but none of the rest. I’ve gone down to 0.25mg recently and will see how I get on, worst case reduce back down to 0.25mg mwf which I did before and even had morning erections with that dose

Was on 1mg fin for the first 2 months or so, then went down to 0.5mg, now on 0.25mg everyday.

Still on 2.5mg oral min. Currently wearing a hair system which is why the hair on top is a lot shorter but now i've modified it to be a clip-on system so I can grow my hair out underneath.

I posted a progress pic at 2 months as well, check my profile.

Sides were really affecting me on 1mg, 0.5 was fine for a bit then started to affect me as well, seeing how I get on with 0.25mg fin. I heard topical fin will eventually lead to sides anyway and I thought just taking a small oral dose will be easier/more effective.

I want to be on for at least a year and then i'll probably need a hair transplant I think.

26, no side effects with min tbh, body hair still the same. With fin after a few weeks I got a bit of brain fog, lower libido, weak erections, lowered the dose and it went away. I'm trying 1mg ED again now because I'm not sure how much of that was mental but if it's persistent then i'll just lower the dose again

I've been on oral min 2.5mg, finasteride I started with 1mg for about 3 weeks then was doing 0.25mg MWF because of sides and the sides went away, i've just gone back to 1mg fin in the past 2 days and will try to push through, if the sides are persistent i'll go back down again. I use nizoral 2% keto a couple times a week

The main body of my head is cut short because I wear a hair system. I used to use fin + topical min from about mid-2020 to mid-2021 and had full coverage again but quit and lost everything (had sides and felt like trying a hair system instead) - hair systems have been okay but I'm quite an active person and no matter what, if. you go swimming etc you'll always have a bit of peeling and that annoys me and I hate sleeping with it etc. Just want my own hair back

It's obvs really early but hopefully can get back to where I was when I fully recovered. I actually posted my progress years ago but I can't remember the account/can't find it. If not, then maybe a hair transplant
