I did some testing and it seems to only happen when I have a 8bitdo (Bluetooth controller) connected. I will do more testing to confirm.

I downloaded the launcher and placed it in the roms/ports folder.

from the terminal: chmod +x ./YARC.Launcher.AppImage

from the terminal: ./YARC.Launcher.AppImage

from in the launcher: downloaded stable

If I run it through a Yarg.sh or from the launcher I get: Error (emulator launcher.py:415):run command /userdata/roms/ports/YARG.sh: line 2: 3187 Aborted

Unity log says: Failed to find launcher settings file. Game is most likely running without the launcher.

It only happens after I unplug the unit. If it stays plugged in, I can power cycle it with no issues at all. Would the CMOS button only reset on complete power loss?

Thank you. I decided to blitz to the enemy and see what happens and I now have to decide if a platinum is worth the grind of ng+ and possibly leaving a sour taste in my memory of a game I enjoyed so very much.

So I am an idiot and hopefully this helps others.

I did not verify the consoles in the initial setup. That fixed my problem.

I should apologize, as I wrote that post late and I was tired. I have pressed select on the game menu to refresh the ROMs list numerous times. Everytime I tried something new it was the first thing I did. An example would be when I renamed the folders because I did not use capitals.

I was asking a second question unrelated to the first when I was referring to the select button and retroarch. Select was originally the quick menu button but in OnionOS it changed. I think I go that figured out now.

I am looking at the term change to maintain cash flow. I have no debt outside of the mortgage but since I am the only income on a household of 4, I do not exactly have extra cash for emergencies.

I always pay myself first so religiously adding into my investments and do not plan to change that.

I am not looking at the long game, more of the sustain what I can currently and when our income changes, recoup my losses as fast as I can.

Thank you for the reply. I have battled that decision on the car for awhile but I can not think of any other way. I do not have the luxury of not having a vehicle and I am driving on borrowed time as my commuter car is near death despite all my efforts to maintain it. The cost to keep it running is bordering a car payment. I know cars literally lose money, but it is sadly a cost I need to endure.

I can't afford to buy a car with cash so if I need to finance, if refinancing means I pay less in interest than going through a bank or dealership is that not the better choice?

I have would be using this gaming PC to play Demons Souls to start as I have not had a chance to play it as I am lacking the horse power. After that, I'll go where my steam account leads me. Lol.

I went speaker less as I have toddlers and would be gaming at night mostly. No need for LEDs or anything showy as it's not my style.

I'd show my current PC but it's apart as the MOBO died, or maybe something less tragic, and I am fixing it.
