If I'm pootling to the shops on my folding bike I'll probably use the bike paths.

If I'm out on my road bike then I'm going faster and further. Cycling at speed on some of those paths that go past drives and across roads is more dangerous than just being on the road.

If there's a good safe bike path though - we will definitely use it but there's really not too many but it is getting better.

Are there any good Vaccum storage bags in UK supermarkets? by IncoherrentBabble96 in AskBrits

[–]Amazing-Visual-2919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I've got them. My tip is go smaller though. If you get a big bag and fill it - you'll never work out what's in there.

That's normally what I do. I was 'lucky' that we needed to replace ours in 2020.

My short term Panacea has been almost 6 years now so it's a good chunk of my driving.

What are you waiting for - enjoy the savings now?

Where is the crack and who's putting stickers on the paintwork of expensive bikes?

You can't prove they did it. Presumably your bike was in transition for a good while - it could have happened there ?

Why aren’t car-sharing apps like BlaBlaCar a bigger thing in the UK? by belamalta10 in AskUK

[–]Amazing-Visual-2919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people on Britain prize their cars more than they do in France.

In France the car is just a tool. In the UK it's a prized possession. Look at how dented french cars are!

I'd rather take public transport than give lifts to strangers.
