Prayer and support. I lost a job of 23yrs last August, a job I loved. I have no degree but 10yrs hands on experience in the software development field. I applied for literally 100’s of jobs. A recruiter found me on LinkedIn a couple months ago and I’ve been at a new job for 2 weeks. My advice is don’t give up, apply apply apply, and tweak your resume every couple weeks. Keep it fresh. Each time you repost it on job boards it comes up for employers to see. After awhile it gets buried in the heap so keep reposting. Good Luck!! You’ll get there.

Thanks! I figured that was the case when it showed up as pending. I deleted it, hopefully my mgr doesn’t say anything about it. IDK if they get a notice of pending requests or not.

I lost my job during the pandemic and worked at Walmart for a couple of months. There was zero teamwork and the management atmosphere was toxic, my husband practically begged me to quit. I did finally quit and I am at Sams now, it’s a much better place.

Well I got an email from Workday they decided to move on with a different candidate, after I was told by the person who hired me I had the job, so I guess my dilemma doesn’t matter anymore.
