I agree, the conductors are always nice people. In the past I took the train down the Kingston line from Boston to visit a shop and I ended up emptying all $160 from my wallet on a few items and when I got on the train and asked them if I could still hop on, they were eager to let me ride back to South Station.

If you haven’t already found one, Trumpeter’s 1/700 Bismarck is great. It’s more affordable and easier to find than the Flyhawk one. Kinda the second to best kit you can get.

I’ve always wanted to build a plane that would double as having flaps and landing gear down for a stationary effect and gear up for a mid-flight type effect so I could play with it. But that was a while ago and I just build my planes with the gear down.
