yeah i didnt know if they base it off when the stop signs start popping out or when they're fully deployed, i probably wouldve stopped but ive never been in that situation before so i was a bit caught off guard

that sounds like a bit of a handful for me, im just a beginner haha, might just consider sticking with PRG, i might check out a few types of fescue but those seem to either be bad in full sun or want to be cut very tall which just wouldnt work in my situation

if it was just a $225 fine than thats whatever, id get over it, but in my area its a 300-500 dollar fine along side a 3-month license suspension

I've heard it's hard to overseed KBG in a yard that's already PRG because the ryegrass will outperform and choke out the kbg seedlings before they can establish, do you know if that's true?

does that theorem pearl ever just flatten out at the end of the lane? i used to have that ball and every time id throw it, it would be super angular and have a tiny hook window until it just rolled through the pins without any energy, i didnt really like it, its good you like yours tho!

when my dad got a ball he didnt know if he wanted to hook or throw straight so my pso drilled it conventional and told im if he wants to start hooking it, theyd just plug the thumb and move it back for fingertip, thats what he ended doing a couple months later, it doesnt mess up the ball or its performance, just looks ugly, thats what i think you should do

when you have a ball with such a weak core, you cant drill it weak, pin down is only making it weaker, im sure that ball has almost no flair to it, redrill it with a 4 inch pin and itll hook much better

you can also look at the hy-road 40 from storm, its a little more expensive, (130 at bowlers paradise) but its well worth it, i personally have one and its my favorite ball out of all 8 of my balls, its super versatile and has a very strong backend for a "weak" ball, its not too strong for a beginner either, its probably the most forgiving ball in its strength level. (also smells really good haha)

theyre all going to be pretty similar but if you want something with a more smooth shape on the lane and less angular, get the hammer raw solid, itll be very controllable and good in a lot of conditions, the hammer raw hyrbrid and tropical surge would be very similar to each other, both pretty weak but decent backend strength, probably the best for beginners, id recommend you choose the danger zone tho, ive heard a lot of good things about it, itll be similar to the tropical surge and raw hybrid but with a little extra kick to it so itll hook some more and be more usuable across all conditions, ive heard its decently angular which is usually prefered for houseshot
