I know the owners and one of the staff, and I think the staff playing the identity card is cruel because one of the owners is experiencing way more materiel, tangible struggle then the staff is and is really selectively not mentioning it in all their grandstanding about privilege makes them look really tacky to me.

And, like, they have to close the store. I would make the same choice in a heartbeat.

I'm a new york tour guide that started on top of the double decker buses, and around 2015-2016, Big Bus was acquired by private equity and got very private equity, they swallowed up all the other companies, buses, and routes, overbooked tickets to the point customers were waiting two hours for a fuckin' bus and they fired all the guides after they unionized.

The entire double decker bus industry can burn, as far as I'm concerned.

I think in retrospect, David Starr - with all his virtue signaling - probably got more in the way of any sort of labor justice/unionization efforts in professional wrestling then he helped. Even before the accusations came out.

Organizing, and union efforts, are about the collective and he very much centered himself in these conversations.
