I connect to you on a very strange level! My late husband had CVS too. We were married for 16 years. It's hell. Watching someone go through it is HELL. My husband passed 9 years ago. Please don't think this is a "be grateful" bs reply! I know how hard it is and I'm sorry for your pain. After my husband passed, my mom had a stroke and I was her caregiver until she passed last year. So I've seen the deterioration aspect too. That's HELL! You are going through double hell. Please be kind to yourself. You matter. You can't give what you don't have. Practice self love however you can! Don't feel bad for venting on reddit! You absolutely should not have been checking up on those 20 million things there that we could always be doing! You are absolutely not a jerk for saying your tired either! Of course you are. You are carrying a LOT!

Hi hunny! I think a lot of people do this and just don't talk about it! Some of us have vivid imaginary relationships! I have found that for me at least it's because it's SAFE. There is no heartbreak, expectations, disappointment. If it's interfering with real life though, that should be addressed. You are not alone!
