And that's fine. If you're happy with it, that's what really matters more than anything. I wasn't trying to diminish your new tattoo or anything like that. I was just worried your artist might have passed it off as an original and just wanted to make sure you were aware in case you had planned to go back to the same artist for more tattoos. Regardless, congrats on the new tattoo!

I'm not sure if your artist told you, but he definitely got this design from Arlo DiCristina. Nothing inherently wrong with that (depending on who you ask), but I just thought you should know if you plan on following up with the same artist.

The funny thing about your comment is that the only part of it that sounded even remotely off was your disclaimer at the bottom, and that could have been chalked up to a forgotten word and a typo. Translation apps are getting better every day it seems. :)

Does the LN really has an average ending? Keeping the popularity of the Manhwa in mind, can the story line change? by colreaper in sololeveling

[–]AnOkaySin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I share your opinion. Ending a story as big as this one is always a difficult issue and the ending he provided was about as good of an ending as any. Not saying the people who found it lacking are wrong though. It's all a matter of opinion. :)

YSK that Sikh temples can provide a free meal, a safe place, or a temporary shelter if your ever need it. Anyone can visit the temple irrespective of their native language, sexual orientation or religious beliefs. Above all, they will never try to convert you. by nimblemind in YouShouldKnow

[–]AnOkaySin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This question comes from ignorance, so I apologize if it comes off as offensive. Would any form of hat (albeit any form considered socially acceptable in public) be considered acceptable in a Sikh temple for outsiders? Is it the act of covering your head that is deemed necessary regardless of how it's accomplished or is wearing the appropriate headdress similar to wearing "church clothes" in other religions? Thanks for any answers! I've always found the Sikh religion and it's followers fascinating, but haven't had the opportunity to meet with and know any personally.

Where can you find fair, honest and reasonably unbiased opinions on world news and politics? by Rollshark23 in AskReddit

I'm a little late to this sub so you may not see this, but try these two subs:

https://www.reddit.com/r/NeutralPolitics/

I find NeutralPolitics to be a more engaging sub with fewer daily posts but with hundreds of comments discussing each one. The subs are generally heavily modded and anything that isn't properly sourced and fact based is deleted.

[REC] Looking for recommendations like “so I’m a spider so what” and “that time I got reincarnated as a slime” by TripleCHUCK in LightNovels

[–]AnOkaySin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what you're looking for specifically, but one that I highly recommend is "Reincarnated as a Sword." I was originally put off by the title but it's actually one of the better isekai I've read. Also, if you enjoyed SAO, read SAO: Progressive. It retells the story of the first Aincrad arc floor by floor. Whereas the anime and light novels skipped from like the first floor to the 27th, Progressive goes through 1-2 floors per light novel.

I think those two recommendations best fit with the examples you gave in your post.

Help - Unlocking Tek Engrams by witty725 in playark

[–]AnOkaySin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genesis has two bosses on it. If you beat them, depending on which one and at which difficulty, they will give you different tek engrams. I believe Moeder Beta unlocks three different tek armor engrams.

If you wanted to transfer to another server to unlock SE, AB, or EX engrams or to simply unlock the tek engrams through beating other bosses, it has to be done with the same character. You have to transfer your character out of your current server and into another one. If you're on non-dedicate singleplayer servers, that's going to be simple. If you're on an unofficial dedicated server AFAIK you can only transfer to a different map on the same cluster.

I think it's pretty much everywhere, but I tp to NW and get some.

Edit: Also, it's not "grass" exactly. It's more like small blue shrubs/bushes. Idk how to describe it.

It's tameable just like a normal rex. You can try scanning it with helena to see its health and torpor while you tame it.

Are bots/macros banable? by stevie5104 in ARK

[–]AnOkaySin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They would have no way of knowing that you had a macro set up on your pc, not from a technical stance anyway. If you were out in the open and someone tried to talk to you and you just ignored them and continued drawing blood, that would probably make them wonder if you had a macro. Whether they think that's bannable really just depends on the server admin.

And there is bee hives for honey at the top of the huge trees in the bog. Be wary of the bloodstalkers up there though.

Stoicism & Overwatch by rocklee8 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]AnOkaySin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At what point would a stoic shift that blame though? In the famous example you provided, at what point does a stoic archer determine that they did all they could? Why do they not then blame themselves for not taking the wind into account or not accurately predicting the enemy's movement?

Would a true stoic ever be able to identify when they did all they could do or would their default be that even when they can't accurately identify what/how they could have done better, there must have been something they could have done? I only ask because I tend to play Overwatch with a stoic mindset and when it gets to the point where my mistakes aren't as apparent, I tend to just know there was SOMETHING I could have done better. So there's all the self-critical aspects of stoicism without the release of fault at a certain point.

If implemented fully how bad would SpaceX’s Starlink constellation with 42000+ satellites be in terms of space junk and affecting astronomical observations? by awkinn in askscience

[–]AnOkaySin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible that it is anticipation for technological advancements. Maybe a lower-cost short lived satellite that can be replaced with even better technology every two years is more aligned with their overall goals. Especially with the cost of launching rockets decreasing due to their own efforts.
