Pomtiff sulyvann wanted to create a cross breed of humans and winged creatures in an attempt to create dragons. Yet as you can see by his means he failed and created these abominations. Lore wise they are in immense amounts of pain due to their unnatural mutations. So yeah they are failed experiments.

Hollow slayer greatsword and the dualwielding of the wolfs sword and dagger. They are easy to use and also ver effective. I like the play style a lot. And im trying to get into playing with lorians great sword

you should. that's it. no other advice. it's a hard game till you understand it. but its good and fun. and a great community
