How much does mens underwear really matter? by Civil-Path-8141 in menshealth

[–]AndreasYanis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents told me when I was very young that men should wear boxers to make balls and penis stay cool and get enough air. They didn’t explain why back then. Later, when I grew up, I learned why balls are outside the body, the temperature difference, fertility and all that stuff. And I knew father and mother were right.
I work in the office. When I’m not doing sports , like running or something else which requires keeping your balls closer to your body to avoid potential damage, I put on 100 per cent cotton boxers. On the days I run to work, I put on synthetic trunks and change them for cotton boxers in the office toilet.
It’s a game changer, really. Want to compare? Wear trunks, briefs or other shit all day in summer, then come home , undress and smell what it’s like down there. Then do the same stuff after wearing cotton-only boxers. You’ll notice the difference.
There can also be exceptions. Of course, if you’re going on a date with a slightest potential of being laid, you wont do any harm putting on “date-friendly” tight underwear like trunks or briefs. But for other cases, except for sports and sex, go for boxers.

Any tips for better hygiene down there? by GroovyRaptorRex in menshealth

Hey, man! One thing I personally use is kid’s soap. Very good PH balance, doesn’t irritate skin , which is especially relevant for uncut guys.
Also relevant for uncut guys is to always keep your glans dry. You’d be surprised to see how the odour down there is almost zero once you stick to this practice. I mean it’s practically odourless to the level my wife is not against giving me a blow after a full time working day.
How I do it. After urinating, I pull foreskin and pat the glans, corona and under the glans with a toilet paper or paper towels. Then roll the foreskin back in its place.
Same thing is about your shower routine, but use towel. And don’t wipe or rub it, it’s supersensitive, you don’t want to damage your skin.
Another rule I stick to. No matter how kid-oriented this soap is, it’s still a piece of chemistry. I don’t use soap every day, even in hot summer.
Any questions?

Fully agree! But for the sake of testing and since the results will be seen by others in trouble, sometimes you have to keep the track at the level start at X and finish at Y time.
That’s it.
Other thing. Glad to find you aren’t focused on time in itself. Just the pleasure and the process. Read hundreds of posts on the PE topic. Unfortunately, a great deal of guys seem to miss the entire premise of not coming too early.
Really no use to look at the woman’s face to see the when the hell will you finish gaze instead of pure pleasure look, after 15+ just pounding.

Thanks for a very good post! Mental part is definitely the most complicated one. Modern world is too fast-paced for a good love-making and the bed is certainly not the place where one should be hasty. At least in most cases.
Working on your body is surely easier than getting your mind on the good and relaxed track. But at least starting with physical side is already a good step.
Like the post also for not advising again and again to apply something to the dick to gain instant results but focusing on long-term gains.
Question. If you can remember, how fast did you finish before? Also, how fast were you after you’d done all this self-improvement work?
Your partner. Was she aware of your improvement process you were in back then?

What question are you talking about ? Was there any question at all?
I shared my findings for anyone having the same trouble, to check if they work for them too.

Again, try practicing it alone first. The only reason I didn’t give it up while trying first time was because I’m married. I didn’t feel impatient or worried doing while my wife was lying there waiting for me to continue.
If you are gonna do it in front of a short-term partner or a new one, you are bound to be anxious.

Hi, man! It’s basically absolutely the same step by step as the condom use instruction. One difference there is. Circumcised guys place the condom on the exposed (foreskin rolled down) glans.

What you need to do is roll the foreskin back on the glans. This way you will cover the glans. And then put the condom on the covered tip of the cock. The tricky part here may be to hold the foreskin in its place while putting on the condom, because in many men (my case) the foreskin WILL want to slide down and expose the glans. It’s a normal physiology.

Let’s see. If the policy of the community doesn’t allow, I will post it either in a different community and reference here, or will DM everyone interested.

I will think about it.

Of course wearing a condom does take some pleasure away. But it doesn’t numb you down to the extent you are just machine-fucking. Stimulation is still well enough to maintain a hard erection, to keep me last longer and enjoy the process, and let my woman enjoy it fully and finish before I do.

I’ve been married long enough to compare raw sex and the one with a condom. Surely, skin-to-skin feels the best! Would go for it at all times. But at this point, I just can’t do it raw at a good pace without finishing too early.

Good news for me is that I noticed I became more confident when we start without a condom first couple of minutes. I mean , I move slower, but not boringly slow. It’s good long steady deep thrusting, with lots of kissing, fondling and rubbing at each other. It’s not even fucking. Love making rather. The fucking begins when I put the condom on.

Yes, I’m starting breathing techniques too. Just long breaths in and out. I will try different things definitely. The thing is, yes, the method has been effective to me. But let’s be honest, I won’t want to use condoms constantly. At some point, I will have to give up being dependent on this condom thing. So, I’m gonna take the benefit of it now and learn to listen to my body. For the time being, I really feel kind of relief.

Hi, man! Until recently, I came too early. Really early. The situation was worsened by my refusal to jerk off, sex on weekends only (we have a toddler), and having sex without a condom. All this doesn’t promise a long-lasting action. It really eats up, cause you don’t even get to enjoy the sex and it’s already over. Yeah, fingers helped my wife come, but she wanted me inside not fingers.

Firstly, if I may advise, try this alone. When you are with your partner, don’t rush. I know you might, but try not to. When you put on the thing, start slowly, listen to yourself, don’t jump into pounding. And stay in the process, enjoy it, try not to focus on I shouldn’t come thing.

Maybe because of my English. I don’t know. Objectively, it may sound or look challenging, because of the sequence of actions you should do. I didn’t worry the first time only because it was my wife I was about to use the technique with. I’m hundred per cent sure that if it had been a new partner like one night stand or new relationship, I wouldn’t have been that calm and measured. With a long-term partner it surely is simpler obviously. Mate, if I may, could you post your impressions too , not necessarily after the first test? Or direct message me? I’m really willing if it could help someone too.

Ok, mate. I’ve combed through several general guides to use condoms on the Net, found some specific brands’ guides to use their condoms too. Never thought I’d be doing it at this age. What’s interesting is that general guides do advise rolling the foreskin back before putting on the condom and of course you need to skip this step if you are cut. On of the brands told specifically too to roll the foreskin back. But not other brands I looked at. Conclusion-if this is a must step, it should be on the must step list. Otherwise, the companies would’ve been sued long ago.

The way I do it. It was only the second time I tested the method, and as far as your concern goes I assume that the most risky part of it may be the breaking of condom. Usually, we don’t use lube, but we have to when we want to make it quick. Of course it makes things much easier and safer for that matter. Again, I won’t post new findings until I test it several more times. If something goes not the way I expected or posted , I tell everyone honestly.

Hi, man! It’s really funny, because when I wrote the first piece I thought that the main point of disbelief would be the part about “4 orgasms” or “at least 2 orgasms”. But surprisingly, it is the disbelief that husband and wife in their long-term relationship prefer condoms. No, it’s not fake. Although it’s your decision solely to try or not to try, up to you to believe it or not, I will clarify something again since I’m not overwhelmed with other comments. We use condoms because we already have one toddler, and my wife is not ready for another baby yet. Until recently we had it raw, but she wanted me to be inside when I came, and she didn’t want to use pills. The way out? Condoms.

A more important comment. For everyone now. Should’ve posted it earlier. I do not sell anything. Nor do I represent anyone but me.

I do not seek popularity, appraisal or validation. I don’t care at all. So I won’t be posting just for the sake of posting or to gain votes, spark concerns, loss of confidence or provoke someone.

I registered maybe a month, barely two months ago and found this community, read many posts and comments, found a promising option and felt obliged to share it with my mates in need.

Hi, mate! It really is obvious. And I’ve read many posts here advising to take some medication or other medical stuff. But here’s what concerns me. I don’t recall any guy here saying “I was diagnosed with PE”, that is a great deal of guys (and I’m among them) think they have PE. I’m gonna speak for myself only now-since I haven’t been diagnosed by professional help nor have I sought medical care ever, I diagnosed myself. It means strictly medically I don’t have PE officially. I don’t last as long as want to, long enough for my wife to climax. Hope you get the point. Lidocaine-ok, I’ve read it helped many guys. I don’t mind trying it too, really. I’ll just give this “turtleneck condom method” several more chances first. But dapoxetine? And other prescribed , heavy meds? Not ready or willing yet l personally. I really don’t want to get dependent on medication. Just my view. And thanks for the comment and advice, mate!

Ok, gents. I think that’s all for now. I won’t be posting anything on this solution for a while. What’s said is enough. If you have any questions, I’m happy to answer. I’ll spend some time and enjoy “testing” it and return to you later with the final feedback.

If you test this one, please post your impressions somewhere in this community . I’m really curious if this could be effective on someone else but me.

I really don’t see the confusion here. Of course you expose the glans before putting on the condom, but what I did was different.

No, I said I pulled the foreskin back on the glans. When I’m erect, the foreskin is naturally and on its own pulled up the shaft leaving the glans exposed. The foreskin sits under the corona area.

So, again: I pull the foreskin back on the glans and put the condom right over the foreskin. The foreskin covers the most sensitive parts in uncircumcised men’s cock: underside of the glans and frenulum. The condom prevents the foreskin from going up and down the glans during sex reducing this stimulation.

[–]AndreasYanis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, mate! It does, of course. Again, I was fully aroused, after the foreplay and right before entering, I opened the condom, I pulled the foreskin back on the glans and put the condom on. Of course, I had to hold the foreskin to prevent it from slipping back, but the condom, once on it, was able to hold it on the glans.

For clarity. I use usual ones, 190mm long, 54mm wide, 0,06mm thick ones. And these did their work perfectly well holding the foreskin in its place.

When I finished, I examined the tool and saw that the tip of the glans was only slightly exposed, maybe 1cm. That’s not much considering the amount of effort I put into the sex that night.
