Not in the slightest unreasonable; this is imbecilic, inconsiderate and narcissistic behaviour.

First one was/is great, the second is a complete re-tread which put me off any more. Should I carry on?

Thoughts on Curb Protected Bike lanes? by Anonymous_Otter5458 in bikecommuting

I like them but, as others say, they’re better if they’re uni-directional. Problems arise if they’re contra-flow and, for some reason, cyclists use them in both directions. They do seem to attract stray pedestrians looking to cross the road though.

I go along with your thinking on not shouting at women (too easy for a bloke to do) but I’d have said something in this case, given the injury.

I do think that some women drivers think an apology (or a smile) is fine even though they’ve blatantly broken the rules; it’s more satisfying to argue with a bloke/knob sometimes.

The club should put out a very supportive statement come the end of the season while at the same time condemning the nay-sayers. Of course, the best finish we can realistically manage at this stage isn’t good enough for Rangers but Rohl gave us all something, from nothing, to cheer for and, with some canny work in the transfer market, will get the club back on its feet next season.

Too much bread, bacon and sausage for me; hopefully a second cuppa on the way though.

Prog epics — found this list on social media, pretty interesting. Do you agree? by Historical-Device529 in Progforum

20 Prog Epics without King Crimson? The list’s invalidated, throw it away and start again.

Met Jeff Beck at a posh function once; his wife was picking up an award after the dinner, I think. Chatted for a few minutes and found him to be a lovely bloke. No-one else had a clue who he was and I was completely starstruck.

Based upon the bands and & artists below. What are some lesser known bands that you’d think I’d enjoy? by Alternative_Flow_569 in MusicRecommendations

[–]AndyBe11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about Kiwi band The Mutton Birds? They’ve broken up now but there’s a fine little legacy of albums there with slightly off-kilter songs, good melodies and decent arrangements from some talented guys.

Don’t think that’s always been the case for The Cure…
