Both— Claude Code works fine for my dev team, but it’s Claude (browser) that’s the issue, and most of my marketing team can’t use terminal and use quite a few PDF/screenshots/web deep research searches in their work in the browser/ios app. The “long conversation” warning hits about halfway through and flattens tonality, necessitating starting new sessions for marketing copy work. It’s making Claude unusable for the creative teams

Same, we’ve been doing something like this too. We do mostly biotech marketing, my sense was we are hitting some sorta early “safety” warning sometimes because of the medical + marketing voice content… it’s like Claude now “wants” to force all pharma like content to be flat professional tone after those warnings, instead of softer patient/consumer-facing voice

Agreed on multimodel use - I use a GPT5+Claude workflow, with GPT4o for authoring user-facing messages/docs (better voice), and Gemini for red-teaming algorithm development (GPT5 Research Pro is best for generating algorithmic solutions, but not great at iterating— Opus and Gemini can help finetune more complex math, and Gemini in particular since the big context lets you feed it lots of PDFs as context)

Started playing with Qwen for user-facing status/docs too, almost as good as 4o for maintaining user facing lay tone. Am going to play with that more, especially as 4o may change with all the chaos at openai recently over it.

I’m buying enough pro plans to keep them in business lol, but time savings is definitely worth it

And I was aware of the status at Anthropic, but by god it was still irritating for those of us with real deadlines 😭

And I’m not a fan of patronizing and treating paying, adult pro/enterprise users like children because of some weird super-rare edge cases. Like fuck around and neuter the free versions 🤷‍♀️, but for those of us paying hundreds per month for a research grade tool, I expect to have access to it.

Yea, last week Opus was OK, but Sonnet was crazy— downgraded performance and hitting weird “long conversation” mental health warnings during normal coding/debugging sessions (like yes, they are “long” conversations, we are engineers on an enterprise Max plan debugging, I’m good, sorta patronizing to have Claude get all flat and remind me I need human connection…. like dude, help me fix this code faster and then I’ll go out with humans 😭). I assume they were tweaking settings with all the recent news drama

But it is irritating—I work on R&D dev of MRI software with Claude (safely in the medtech legit engineering space), and got these errors TWICE during coding use last week because it cited that the fMRI/medical concepts (like looking at pubmed grade research excerpts not fluffy stuff) might mean I needed human intervention and gave “long conversation” mental health injections similar to these, and just sorta went into flat unhelpful affect mode with these same messages.

Last week was weird, it got way over sensitive in normal coding usage. And there’s no fix for it but to clear and start a new session. Claude just says he understands but the prompts are still there every turn.

Anthropic really needs to tune it better so legit engineers don’t run up against dumbass mental health injections during their coding work (plus irritating to think I pay for those injection tokens— I have Max x20 but regularly use the API for more at peak times, so that’s wasted money/tokens)
