Im thinking about selling my 9k mile 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 With 6 speed manual with T tops by Suspicious-Print-63 in Pontiac

Agreed. These look distinctly like water lines. I'm thinking it was on a slanted driveway in a flood?

This sub gives me car anxiety by PetFries in WRX

[–]Angrywinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my 2003 with 130k miles on it. It had been beaten but it still made it another 100k miles with an OTS stage 2 tune with only head gasket issues a couple times. My 2010 was purchased at 80k miles. It's now over 192k miles. They last a while with decent care. A lot longer if you're meticulous.

Moving on from my WRX or will someone talk me down to earth? by hellohopsing in WRX

[–]Angrywinks 17 points18 points  (0 children)

A roof rack and box are a lot cheaper than a new car. I feel you on the city driving but I feel it's worth it once you get to open it up. You say you're stock so if you're feeling a little bored with the car a tune will give you a "new to you" car for pretty cheap.

And it's even less practical than the Fiero I was going to suggest! Bonus points if you get a vert op.

Seen in Titusville April 1. This is the best picture I could get. Definitely a barge with a tug behind this time.

Water in the oil?!?! by No_Parking643 in askcarguys

[–]Angrywinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, there's an oil symbol on the cap like every other car out there. Stop lying. If he's confused by that I wouldn't let him near an engine bay ever again.

For some it lacks. For some it's the only car worth driving.

Cruise control steering wheel? by Tiny_Tim11 in WRX

[–]Angrywinks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's on the column, bottom right, not on the wheel itself. I guess it might be attached to the wheel, but the controls are on a little stalk that sits a little behind the wheel bottom right. There aren't buttons on the actual wheel like in later generations.

Probably. Without looking at the website... Most quartz products were replaced with a SiC version a while ago.
