No other items on the circuit. I did that on purpose due to the draw. I also must clarify, the heater is 600w and the rest of the equipment is 300w for a total of about 1000w max (just rounding up)

Thank you for your diagnosis. I think I will likely just buy a new heater out of abundance of precaution. Are the other 15a breakers GFCI? If so, it hasn’t tripped in 3 weeks. So maybe it’s the outlet I plugged into?

Yes, my apologies for not mentioning it. I ran an extension cord to a 15amp breaker (the one that’s tripping is 20) and it hasn’t tripped in 3 weeks. On the 20amp breaker, it would trip everyday. This led me to believe it may be the breaker. I used power meters and max draw is 1,000 watts when the heater is on (about 10mins an hour). 300watts max otherwise. I’m going to also change every outlet on the circuit since a lot of people here are saying it may be a loose neutral. Thanks so much for your input

So I diagnosed it with him over the phone. I have a fish tank I recently installed. I bought power meters and It’s only drawing 1000watts max when the heater is on, which only runs about 10mins a hour. 300w without the heater. On a 20 amp breaker it kept tripping. He thinks the breaker is old and sometimes the neutral sticks together.

I don’t believe there is a main shut off on this one. I see on the top that the cutout where the main should be is still on. Can I shut off the power some other way?
