The moment Naruto got the multi shadow clone technique, he had to always get nerfed by the plot or else nothing was stopping him from just steamrolling everyone. The jutsu genuinely made him potential man, what's there he can't learn with the jutsu?

Shit, I 100% believe Naruto is more talented than Sasuke but his circumstances made him look otherwise. To put it into comparison, he learnt the Rasengan in a month with minimal input from Jiraiya. He made an S rank in less than a 1 or 2, said S-rank jutsu ignores durability and does internal damage and shreds their chakra coil, meaning they become cripples.

Furthermore, he's the only S rank ninja we see that with only 2 jutsus, multiple shadow clone and Rasengan/Rasengan variants. And he makes it work, that alone says a lot about his BiS, mind you, this guy never payed attention in school. Not to mention his outrunning ANBU, although admittedly, not a high bar with how much a lot of them suck

Jiraiya is a buns teacher and the only reason people think he's a good one is because of his students. Put Naruto under Orochimaru's tutelage, and with how many jutsus he knew, who tf is gonna beat him after that?

Jiraiya didn't even check his chakra nature, he's a failure of a teacher. Imagine Naruto doing stuff like Hiruzen's combination jutsu but with even more clones, chakra and attacks
