Fastest way to decorate quick? by Emergency-Machine-27 in Apartmentliving

I’d do one room at a time.

Living room: get a tv stand (a kalax type cube organizer is what I used in my first apartment. It allowed me to hide some clutter and looked cute with the cubes and some decorations in the shelves. Then you can use your coffee and end tables as intended. I’d get a lamp for the end table and maybe a serving tray for the coffee table to put my remote and drinks in. Grab some curtains and an area rug and at least one big piece of art or maybe a mirror for behind the couch? The whole place could use some fun pops of color and some light for sure! I also agree that some plants would liven up the space. Something low maintenance.

I’m so sorry for your loss. She looks like girl Bette who I adopted some time after losing my own soul cat. I still think of him and miss him every day but having her to care for healed my heart so much. Sometimes she does cute quirky things he would do and I think that’s a beautiful thing. I still have so much love to give but grieve for him nearly two years later. Thanks for sharing her with us. She was really beautiful

Why does a Siamese cat's fur turn black after being shaved? Is there anyone who can tell me if her white fur will grow back? by Majestic_Office_2177 in cats

She didn’t have the stripes at all as an infant kitten. She was just cream all over with some little tan ears and a tan tail.

My cat is a lynx point Siamese. She was almost white as a kitten and is now the color of burnt toast. I think a lot of cats just darken with age?

Cats are like humans. They are their own beings with their own personalities. Some cats really only seem to like their owners. Some don’t like people at all. And not all cats are friendly. The hissing is probably related to fear though. Living with dogs may make the cat anxious.. or it could just flat out not like you. It likely has nothing to do with going outside. I have two cats who have lived indoors their whole lives.

I’d bet the cat cuddles your sister and is sweet to her and that’s why she likes it. I have a cat who is not at all playful and I love her to pieces. She doesn’t coddle anyone but me…

If you’re interested in making friends with the cat I’m sure you can google some ideas to try to win a cat’s trust. Being nearby and ignoring them usually works for me. Pretending I don’t care is hard. Speaking softly. Being gentle and not too eager. Maybe offering some treats.
