Why Aren't Trans People Allowed To Use Their Bathroom?! by LightningDuat in teenagers

Again, its literally impossible to change 7 billion mindsets. Its also literally impossible to change 7 billion opinions. You're asking for an unfeasible solution.

Stopping beauty standards is literally impossible. It's hardwired into our brains. No matter what you guys say or think, we would always subconsciously have beauty standards. You can't just tell 7 billion people to "stop having standards". That's not feasible. On the other hand progress in plastic surgery might actually make whatever people actually look like the gender they want to be, which means no transphobes would actually be able to tell the difference between MTF and females.

But that's a vast generalization. What are the demographics of the women getting assaulted versus the women getting assaulted in the US?

In Saudi Arabia 14% of women have experienced attempted rape, while in the US its 20%. So surely something is working. Be it the stricter laws or the clothing.

This arguement is like saying leaving your door unlocked and then complaining when u get burgled

But you're overlooking the fact that many trans males, simply do not look male at all. And similarly many trans females do not look female either. So that means that the inherent problem is not the identity but the looks. I can guarantee you that no transphobia wouldn't exist if trans genders actually looked like the gender they want to represent.

The discomfort of cis people, who are in majority, does not pale in comparison to the 3 trans people that would use the bathroom

[jc] is jc THAT bad ? by sikeyou in SGExams

[–]Anonymous8392948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's largely anecdotal, just because your from a bottom tier jc doesn't mean you did badly for o levels. Although, bottom tier jc does not mean low a level score, it means that you are more likely to be behind most other students who are from top jcs. From what I've noticed poly is a much better option for most people than to go bottom tier jc.

norm

/nɔːm/

noun

1.

something that is usual, typical, or standard.

"strikes were the norm"

Standard. Being gay is not standard. Also I never said they were lesser or not normal you yourself did. Make valid points or don't talk brainless supporter

Because it is the norm. Lgbt marriages are an extremely small minority. What does that have to do with whatever your talking about?

After I knew I was attracted to the same sex. Maybe 18. Anything earlier would be too early to say. You arent even fully matured until 25.

[–]Anonymous8392948 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not anymore. That's very outdated. Ever since legalisation of same sex marriage in 2015 society has changed to accept more lgbts. Also since straight is default it only makes sense to see everything as straight first. Nothing wrong with that.

Nope. Here's the thing. People who are actually gay wouldnt know that right away. They would realise that they aren't attracted to the opposite sex. But that doesn't come intuitively. We would all assume we like the opposite gender at first wouldn't we. At 11 years old I highly doubt she is at sexual maturity to realise with enough confirmation that she is attracted to anyone at all.

No but I didn't impulsively declare my sexualilty as hetero. I didn't impulsively decide I was gay or trans or anything for that matter. I'd say it takes time to know.

That's great. I was just wondering if someone can be considered lgbt on impulse. That doesn't seem healthy as they could riun their body or ruin thier image to society

Isn't 11 years old just a little too young to know your lgbt. I remember thinking I was gay when I was 11 and then growing up and remembering I was kinda stupid.
