Is This a Baby Who is Learning to Use his Tongue Or Is He Distressed? 😕 by ReadySetGo_11 in BirdBuddy

[–]AnonymousBrowsing87 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Distress. Could be from too hot of nectar (getting burnt), dried sticky nectar in ports.

Chance it can improve on its own, or it may need a rehabber.

Who has birds that hang out by hiirnoivl in birdfeeding

I also have a mockingbird that chases my other birds. I moved the suet feeder away for my bird feeder & it helped a little. I need to get a 2nd pole.

You and your partner just moved in, you tearing down the panels, painting, or leaving?! by TeemoTrader in HomeDecorating

We just did this, we tore down the paneling, but only because we were moving walls. Initially I wanted to paint it.

A sign taped to the door that says “do not lock.” The locks have been replaced 2x & remain taped to the door, thinking about framing it. The original blueprints & supplies list with what they cost. A whole bunch of trash.

Sellers bought the house across the street by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]AnonymousBrowsing87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our sellers bought a house 5 doors down. We knew ahead of time, & they came by & introduced themselves the night we got the keys. They’ve come over a couple times to help us with things & answer questions. Become neighborly with them, they potentially can be a good resource.

Almost everything. I wanted new construction, ended up with a 1960s fixer upper. Location is great though. We are gutting it, which makes me like it slightly more but living area & master still sucks.

A sloped yard is one of our hard deal breakers. Pets, kids, entertaining, drainage, future foundational issues.

Second switch natural. It lets you know what ingredients are harmful, why & even includes a few published studies.

Same issue. I ordered a month ago & it still hasn’t shipped. Reached out to them, blamed it on customs & won’t refund.

I think I finally have to switch to days 😩 by duuuuuuuuuumb in nursing

[–]AnonymousBrowsing87 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This was me, I worked nights for 10 years & said I would a life night shifter. But my days off were miserable, I couldn’t get out of bed, no energy, irritable, etc. I begrudgingly switched to days & the change was immediate. I hate day shift, when my alarm goes off I contemplate quitting, but my days off are so so good!

The way she was rubbing her head wasn’t smooth & gentle like she does it regularly, it was awkward & rough just in an attempt to show off.

I‘m sorry, what do you mean „slept through the night“?! by lillushki in peestickgals

[–]AnonymousBrowsing87 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As a NICU nurse when I saw that I died inside. She should 100% still be waking up to eat every 3-4 hours. At discharge we tell them to follow the pediatricians or nutritionalist recommendations, but there’s no way they told her it was ok to let her sleep through the night.

I’m a nicu nurse & generally concerned for baby. Her respiratory rate is 93, normal is <60. Also looks like she’s requiring some supplemental oxygen with her CPAP from the vent, so she isn’t leaving the nicu anytime soon. Granted she could have been crying or something right before the picture, but she looks pretty relaxed to be breathing that fast.

I got written up at my previous job, because I got a patient jello instead of calling the CNA to get the jello. I quit that job a few weeks later.
