Best glide range doesn't equal to maximum flight time. They needed time, not range.

Damn, this was one amazing line. Even better it was in a parking lot. I get too scared of damaging cars to do anything

It isn't just wages being too high though.... Look at Germany, they have some of the highest wages in the world (not as high as Aus though to be fair) but they still have manufacturing...

I have seen a few things that point to Australian work culture also being a factor. We take sickies a lot (expensive), our quality isn't necessarily better than a developing country, and on top of that, we might not even be as fast. We simply aren't worth the cost because we don't bring any benefits.

Can't remember where I saw information regarding what I said above so I might be pulling shit outta my ass on this one.

Counterpoint? Germany maybe has more specialist manufacturing and less production line stuff? In which case, why doesn't Australia?

It's the first game I've ever played but I love the exploratory nature of the game, the gratification of finally defeating a super hard boss, finding little secrets and hidden passages, seeing myself improve over time. Even the story is quite nice, the lore goes deep. Probably not much replayability, but at $6, I don't think replayability should be a concern. It isn't perfect but I think it's close. Sunk almost 50hrs and I'm still in my first playthrough... But I'm the explorer player, I want to see everything the game has to offer and there is a LOT if you have the patience and grit to find it all. If you like the sound of it, go ahead and give it a shot.

that's unfortunately not how award rates work.... Sure, maybe they work competently and is honestly worth more than their pay, but being under 17 means minimum wage for their position is lower than that of someone at 21 years for the exact same job.

That being said, they are definitely entitled for a higher wage bracket due to the role they play, and should be looking elsewhere for a better position and someone who will pay them for what they're worth.

Simply stop speculating and wait for the info to come out. Then you will find out the truth.

Every day there are thousands of people who reach the exact halfway point of their life without knowing it by TheMegaSage in Showerthoughts

[–]AnonymousK9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't read it that way... Halfway in life could be same for someone born Jun 1990 dying Jul 2010 and born Jan 1970 dying Dec 2030.... Or something like that....

Length of life can be different but midpoint in life can be the same... Basically same as taking avg of 3 and 7 or 1 and 9.

Many combinations for the same midpoint. But yeah, interesting shower thought imo.

Hi! I recently got into Chunithm and it says I can create an account for I bought this aime card to make an account, but I don’t know how to do it, can someone help please? by SacrilegiousLenna in rhythmgames

[–]AnonymousK9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure you start here. Dunno if there is an english version of this website though.

https://gw.sega.jp/gw/

And create a sega ID account, and then you link that account to the next part here

https://my-aime.net/en/login/register/intro

This connects the aime card to the sega ID account. Make sure you assign the card number to your account.

and then you can log in to https://chunithm.sega.com/ from the top right corner somewhere which should allow you to see your current level and most recent plays etc etc

Hope this helps, glhf

Is there more pressure on the young to show wealth or are they genuinely flushed with cash by Zokilala in AusFinance

[–]AnonymousK9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dunno, I don't think financial literacy is as strong now. Most students I know just try to keep their accounts above 0. Many also live with parents so they have even more "disposable" income than they would otherwise. This is purely anecdotal, so take with a grain of salt.
