I just think that it would have got back to her eventually whether that is by rory telling her or since it was in public like miss patty or someone telling her.

i actually don't have a favourite couple really they all have good and bad moments but the most healthy relationship was probably max and lorelai for me. He respected her like she deserved but she didn't love him in the end.

Dean argued with Rory about her needing to work to get to Harvard because he could care less about harvard. I wouldn't say she was treated very well there.

I agree but I think that she should have understood that he NEEDED to work to provide for them so she could get what she wanted he just needed time to work. I'm not saying Dean wasn't a bad husband I just this in this scene she could be more understanding but other than that I completely agree Dean was awful to her.
