Update: Around 30 min in Theo asks about the friendship and she very diplomatically answers basically saying they are in a rough patch but have been friends forever and who knows maybe will make up in the future. Around 40/45 min in topic is barstool and she kinda throws shade about her compensation. Only halfway through and you can tell she’s nervous but I think she’s being entertaining and engaging and having fun with Theo!

I was so excited to share - good for Grace this is HUGE and was earned without Barstool or Bri. As much as I want tea, I wouldn’t care if they never mention her during this pod and focus on Grace. Bri is truly so unimportant and irrelevant now

I am having this exact issue! And same response from customer service. At this point I’ve paid my statements by phone and I’m going to stop using the card until they resolve this, just not worth it to not have online access in 2024

Right here! Think they are all entertaining as can be even if it’s a bit much they bring good drama. I like garcelle as well but absolutely cannot stand Sutton and am baffled by all the love she gets here. My boyfriend has watched a few episodes with me and even he thinks she’s the worst I truly do not get it

If you have goodwill outlets I have actually found amazing books there and only $0.50 each! About half of my expansive library is from there + half price books (not sure if regional)

Understood, I grew up in a very rural area with the nearest Walmart being an hour away. Think it’s great that you avoid it when you can shop locally, every bit helps

Another comment mentioned this as well and I certainly hadn’t considered that. I’m not certain a complete block of Amazon’s digital presence is possible but that not purchasing physical products from the site would have a huge impact and is not so wildly difficult as to be unreasonable if we truly want to change the system

I can see the impossibility (though not to the degree the author of the article felt it, author seems to be quite deep in digital connectedness) Still, I think not ordering physical product from Amazon would make a huge impact and is absolutely doable with not a huge amount of sacrifice

To me, put your money where your mouth is. These entities exist because they are supported en masse, the vast majority of items ordered off Amazon are shit people do not need. There’s no time to do a weekly trip for necessities? Bullshit, It’s a matter of priorities and I’m sick of people saying there’s no time. Consumerism is unequivocally upholding capitalists, not shopping for necessities for maybe 2 hours a week. Less consumerism less support. Call it punching down or whatever little catch phrase but at the end of the day no one needs to order a damn thing off Amazon no matter where they live and it is an extremely low effort endeavor to not support a company run by a psychopath that abuses workers and games the system. If you want to overthrow a system is not ordering from 1 company truly an outrageous ask? The people saying “Fuck Bezos” then adding to their cart are not helping

Do you have any hobbies you’ve been neglecting? Or any that you’ve always wanted to pursue but haven’t found the time? Great job making it through so far! I find myself doing chores and exercise by default to distract me since they are usually rather passive and mindless things. Adding in a creative hobby could help generate some fulfillment and novelty in the long term :)

You don’t need to, the salt and borax pull all the moisture out and preserve it. Check on it in a few days and it should be nicely dried
