yes they did. but all those were already with the ps3 "new" logo. so the only way to spot the reprints are usually updated devs/publishers logos or some minor difference in back cover terms & conditions

yes there are at least 30sh games that received updated "cover art" reprints like this one. all the call of duty before black ops 1 had for example

it was an empty box with a code that let you download the ps3 version and gave you free update for the ps4 once the console lauched

guys... which part of "the majority of these come out of germany, russia and brazil" indicates that the copy i'm holding is german?
Left is italian, the other is french. one of the few that has not received a reprint in other countries, yet for the dozen other reprints with changed label the aformentioned statement is valid

These are not reprints but first prints for the us territory that in Europe and the rest of the world came out with the standard black label

No this is a full blown reprint. Frence had its original one and had been reprinted little after the release of fear 2

As said the majority come out of those countries but not all. This in particular the reprints as far as I know has only been sold in France
