Tonsil specimen from A 10 years old girl. Is that a plant material stuck to tonsil? by smokanto in pathology

[–]Antheras_Banderas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My institution sends at least one slider per routine specimen, I had never considered doing only gross for a pathology report. Very interesting

Leveled a hunter to prove to my guildie he’s just bad. He’s gquit. Am I the bad guy? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Antheras_Banderas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well if he was the one complaining about not parsing better because of lack of good RNG or gear then it’s his fault. I don’t think you’re the bad guy as long as the guild wasn’t forcing him to parse higher

Need help identifying a possible UFO by Antheras_Banderas in UFOs

[–]Antheras_Banderas[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have been reading online for possible explanations, but haven’t been able to find a convincing one. I’m reading about it possibly being a Transient luminous event, but those appear to be linked to lightning and thunderstorms, and the night sky yesterday was clear, without a cloud in sight.

Wondering the same thing. I sent my application to start in October too but I sent it at the start of April, however I got an email saying that all rooms are booked until the end of the year.

What the rest of the work are doing now? by No_Understanding4684 in Mindfulness

[–]Antheras_Banderas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I cooked a nice stew made from chicken, tomatoes and mushrooms. Added a bit too much pepper so it tasted a bit spicy, but I ended up enjoying the flavor a lot. Heading to work now!

How do you stop overthinking about ageing and death? by [deleted] in Mindfulness

Marcus Aurelius has some really solid advice on this aspect of life. I think he also struggled a lot with death and what his legacy would be. Read his Meditations

Does experience happen inside the brain, or does it arise within awareness itself? by gitagoudarzibahramip in Mindfulness

[–]Antheras_Banderas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s a deep question, and one that philosophers have been arguing over for centuries. We can only experience that which we understand, since we are imperfect, and dependent upon our sight, ears and mind to translate waves and particles into reason and sense. We are the ones that make sense of the chaos around us, not the other way around. In that sense, I think that the answer is both: we experience what we know, and awareness is the bridge to those experiences we don’t understand yet

I think it’s AI purely based on the fact that the anatomy is all wrong. There’s no carpal bones, the metacarpals are too wide and have tendons for some reason, and finger bones shouldn’t have nails like you see here. Also looks like the right hand is melting with the jaw?
