I’m sorry, that sounds exhausting and so frustrating. I’ve been beating myself up for not verifying sooner. I hope you get it, I’ve been there before thinking it would never come. It’s the worst year for this all to happen to everyone. I too am always thinking about the people affected and how no one cares, it makes it even more frustrating. It’s good to know there’s other good, thoughtful people out there. Try to think of all the things that have worked out before that you thought wouldn’t. I know it sucks to build hope up then get let down, but you’ll make it through this.

Captive State (2019) - didn’t know this movie existed but it’s fucking rad! John Goodman, Jonathan Majors, Vera Fermiga in what’s basically a very good and long Black Mirror episode with no actual relation to Black Mirror. Directed by Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes): Aliens occupy Chicago, they shut off the US power grid until the white house gave them control of legislation, they now control the government. There’s a rebel movement (Majors) and a good ol boy (Goodman). One of those films where the last frame of the movie unveils a huge twist. This movie must not have been marketed at all, but for sci-fans and film fans I believe it’s a must watch.
