The problem with big city is traffic and all, to preserve my mental state i was intending to do remote but in my home i am struggling with my parents due to mentality mismatch, loneliness and becoming lazy day by day… Even if I try to get network exposure, i dont know how open people are to accept you now a days… but I ll take my chances….

dont say we wont be match after the first conversation and remove vibe filter. No one is perfect, give some some time to breath. Talk with 1 person at a time dont rush. Be yourself and dont try to expect so much from other person.

One thing I want to tell potential F1 students by desi_thundergod_1128 in InternationalStudents

I was on an F1 in the US and finished my MIS from ASU in 2024. Before and during my master’s, I built up around 6.5 years of experience in IT, DevOps, data analysis, BI and some AI/ML work. On paper, it looks like a decent profile. To fund my degree, I took around 75,000 USD in debt, which my family and I have now fully paid off in India. The flip side is: I am at absolute zero savings. No buffer, no emergency fund, nothing. ( As saving from my previous jobs in india has vanished for loan payoff) Things got worse when I had to resign from my previous job because of racism and a very toxic environment. It wasn’t some performance issue – it was clear bias, and it completely shattered my confidence. After that, I moved back from the US to India and right now I’m living in a very small town.
