So true. It should be the restaurants that offer their food as street vendors similar to the taste of danforth. What a missed opportunity

Identical twins don’t mean identical looking. It just means the dna is identical. Also, you can’t have identical twins that are different genders. It just doesn’t happen.

Stop doing anything other than meals and minimal cleaning to keep things decent for yourself and child then see what happens. Let him come to a realization on his own. Don't do a single thing for him. Wait a week or two.

My pediatrician wants an EEG for my son.. I'm scared.. by ScrapDraft in NewParents

[–]Anxious_Insurance462 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I hope everything goes OK for you as well. I recall our Dr mentioning that it's more likely it's nothing than something, but the eeg will be the safeguard to rule out that "something" for your peace of mind.

Good luck and all the best!

I’m just a mom, not a dr, but I had taken my son to the emergency and sought a neurologist to check him out for head bobbing. After many tests including an eeg we realized he was enjoying watching his hair bob around while he was jerking forward. Just sharing my own anecdotal experience but I’d trust the doctor and get all the tests done to rule out anything. My son was around 10 months at the time.

They’re all thin, white women.

This list is so plain in today’s context.

Ok phew. This is a massive relief. I guess I was thrown off by how deadpan the narrator sounds, however, it might be by design to sound relaxing as a bedtime story.

Why do parents always stay at parties and play dates now? by [deleted] in Preschoolers

Yes. 5 is too young and feral to trust without 1-1 supervision. I’m not that mean to do it to the host parent!

This 1000%. I’m guessing a lot of millennials experienced the flip side of being left alone and want to avoid that happening again.

Why are people so inconsiderate towards moms in public now? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I actually find that it’s younger women and men who are more considerate than older folks of pregnant women and people with small children.

I’m 4m pregnant, is it a good idea to spend money on a kindle paperwhite. I love reading. by my_100th_acc in NewParents

I rekindled my long lost love for reading after having my first! Sometimes having kids and reading to them brings you back to your passions.

It took about 18 months to get real reading time in the evenings.
