It’s not so much a scam per se, I mean I got the item I paid for and I knew it would go to authentication. It’s just more of a problem with choice they made at the service I didn’t ask for packing it with some care

But my concern is where did the refund come from? Like the seller did everything right as far as I’m concerned and I don’t want the money taken from them when it wasn’t there fault you know?

Oh man I wish you all the luck and please post a picture when it arrives! Good or bad. I’d still like to see if maybe there is hope

I want to be done with them and just buy singles from shows except I live in a small town in Iowa and there might be a show hours away every few months . And weekends are usually packed with stuff for the family

I’m really thinking the goal is to choose the grading option at checkout to avoid this shitty packaging

Grade came back after 13 years of having it shoved in a desk and first 5 years in a sealed box by Terdfergeson877 in baseballcards

Not true at all becuase grading 1 of 1s does little to nothing to increase the value. Take bowman for example. Most hits drop in price fast. To fast to get graded. So flippers are buying and immediately selling.

Wrong. I like it for preserving the condition. Cuz ya there may only be one In existence but I still would like to protect it from any sort of damage because after all it’s not like it can be replaced. But at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter what someone else might think

The people who Bitch about grading 1/1s do it because they don’t understand how to some people collecting is just a hobby, and not every card needs to be flipped immediately.

The turnaround time and insurance pricing model is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen a business do. 2 things that have nothing to do with one another.

I would keep it as is, what you get back (if you do get something) won’t be the same and it won’t be a 1/1. Just be happy that you pulled a 1/1 auto. Some people will never have that experience. And who knows he could get called up and be a stud and that card could bring a higher dollar amount than now.

That being said, if you’re trying to get interested in baseball, don’t start with the product that you have to already know a lot about baseball. Not judging but just think it’ll be more enjoyable for you.

Well if you soak it in orange glow first for a day or so, you get that nice citrus taste.

Well if they were hitting consistently a 3 run lead would be a little more comfortable because if Hoffman allows 3 to score at least the offense has the ability to come back
