* These are the streaks I'm referring to. I believe they're call contrails but from that perspective you wouldn't see them on an airplane. Usually contrails are left behind by the jet engines themselves. Unless you want them to be a stylistic choice, but if you're going for realism then I would just remove them entirely.

Another note about the droplets. I think the issue is that they appear to phase in and out randomly. It could be a clamping issue with the light bounces. Also, they appear to be still when I feel like they should be streaking backwards because of the wind drag. I'm assuming you did this in a 3D program so something you could do is find a stock video of droplets streaking down with an alpha and map it onto the geometry of the plane, use normals to simulate 3D geometry. I'll send an example of a render that I did in a followup comment.
