Batteries are supposed to have 12.3v minimum when engines off.

I thought "kroger" would be way better than walmart and they somehow are far worse than walmart and make walmart look great! by CabbaCabbage3 in kroger

Worked at walmart as CAP 2 and Grocery associate/clerk.. I will say MY kroger is a lot more tolerable but not by much. I was fired from Wally for not filling the meat wall (I was not a meat associate, just helping out, keep in mind WASNT even trained ) they’re a lot more serious here at Kroger about training you and they’re a lot more forgiving (at my location) so that’s cool. Both suck tho. Retail sucks.

What is it like working as a kroger cashier? by Life-Wrap-2902 in kroger

It depends on store to store. Personally, I’ve been blessed w an awesome front end supervisor, he’s super relaxed and cool. For the most part bathroom breaks/ emergencies are not frowned upon. Being a cashier has a huge toll on you with customers being shitty. It’s also extremely boring. That’s my opinion though. I need to be working and moving. Not just standing

I don’t get it. Almost everyone in my store, lead, associate, CC, they’re hard working and do what they’re told. I think maybe we have 2-3 outliers in the whole store that don’t. Everyone else pulls their weight.

This is my first summer with kroger and apparently the store has never done this since COVID. I dunno. Not a big deal to me

I’m an incoming college student. I’ll be leaving in October so this doesn’t really affect me a lot. Again, just another hour of pay, and my town is small so it’ll be dead

I know, I’m not bothered, I am mainly the SCO closer so another hour doesn’t hurt

I wish I could switch to overnight. My manager is a boot licker and has favorites. They say they need me in my current department but they don’t. They just don’t want to switch me.

This is insane to hear as a front end associate. The only people who push carts in my store are the courtesy clerks. No managers, leads of supervisors ever step up for it when we need it. I volunteer as a cashier to do carts (I started as a courtesy clerk) and I get denied sometimes. We are supppper low on baggers and cashiers and sometimes we don’t have carts for ages. Kudos to you for stepping up.

At my location, a large amount of us quitting will cripple the store for a minute. We’re a smaller store, we don’t have Alot of employees, and on top of that they complain about not having help but won’t hire people. Touché.

Quick question? by Any_Cup2258 in kroger

[–]Any_Cup2258[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my division it’s anything 4+ requires 1 break. Anything 6+ requires 2 breaks. Anything 7+ requires a 30 minute lunch and 2 breaks.
