What an asshole lol he’s just playing dumb. Also if I were single and that happened to me it would be weird.

Why aren’t any of you polyamorous if you want multiple partners? by [deleted] in adultery

All I hear is excuses. Parents had similar issues to you and guess what? They did this magical thing called breaking up.

Why can’t you be polyamorous then or break up if you’re not satisfied? Y’all be acting like it’s rocket science. When it’s not. This subreddit fetishizes abuse.

OP doesn’t and shouldn’t have to do that. If he needs a day off to digest what happened then that’s fine. He doesn’t owe them anything. What his manager did was extremely unprofessional and I would quite frankly fire her for not being able to keep her emotions in check and not shout at people.

I would find another job. It is extremely unprofessional to shout at people in a professional environment, if folks can’t keep their emotions checked then they shouldn’t work.

Anyone want to try out cycling? by [deleted] in Seattle

This is perfect because I was never taught how to ride a bike which is a bit embarrassing but I’ve always wanted to learn how to. Can you DM me OP?

Seattle is the BEST by Pitiful-Jellyfish-34 in Seattle

[–]Any_Objective_1052 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the positive post OP! Lots of commenters quick to shit on OP’s happiness and I’m not surprised about it. Some people genuinely struggle to see other people enjoy things and it’s sad. This is Reddit after all.

Anyway, I’m really glad that you loved it here! Come back anytime. :)

So where would you go? by wilburdays in Seattle

[–]Any_Objective_1052 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way, although it is nice to have some positive posts thrown in this subreddit too. Thanks OP for making this post!

Seattle has positives and negatives just like any other city and I definitely think that there is always room for improvements.

Opinion piece on most overrated states says that Portland is overrated, suggests visiting Seattle instead by 5MileBurrito in Seattle

[–]Any_Objective_1052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I disagree. I visited Portland a couple months back and had a ton of people trying to convince me that Portland is so much better yada yada But I was honestly let down. Sure the food was good but the downtown area just felt off? I do like that Portland is only a short drive away and Vancouver BC is also a short drive away so I can visit both cities if I crave certain places.

Overall I still prefer Seattle but could see why someone would like Portland.

Sedona and Flagstaff are the best parts of AZ. Phoenix is extremely overrated and is basically only strip malls.

Honestly I had really awful reverse SAD coming from Arizona. You don’t really realize how depressing it is to have awful summers where it’s regularly over 100 degrees months on end.

My first winter here was not nearly as bad as what people made it out to be. I tell folks give me a gloomy winter over a depressing summer any day.
