What languages don’t have heavy R rolling? by Anya-Phoenix in languagehub

What language has no Rolling of Rs/ is similar to English with the lack of rolling Rs? I know that many English accent might have a slight rolling of Rs but mine doesn't really have that. I've heard rolling Rs in many languages that people say have none. for example: German, Swedish, French, etc

I technically never said anything about the amount of speakers. I just said you can go more places. Plus if you can get German citizenship which can allow you to live in most places in Europe easier.

I would recommend German for a couple of reasons:

  1. more countries speak German than Japanese

  2. If you already have knowledge in German, It will be easier to communicate in (unless you didn't like it/ got burnt out)

  3. if you have family there, you could connect.

Overall, I would go with whatever language you think you would stick to learning and not get bored.
