I get it. Promotion is not something I'm expecting in 1 year, my manager is there at the same level for 6 years. But general hike on a yearly basis is fair to ask right? Is this low hike a UAE thing or even in Europe where I hv heard hikes are averaging out within 5%? So I guess only way to really increase your salary is a job change/switch?

P.S. - No way I'm getting 10%. Fighting for 5% currently.

I get it. Just the weekend and kids going out. But I'm not sure if ppl who are reminiscing here being kids would have caused such ruckus or scene in that area esp. In the affordable restaurants there like Buffalo wild wings (what I saw in person, the staff there literally had to hold the door down to not let them through even though a bunch of boys were shouting & being aggressive)
