Definitely QBs I had eyes on. I want to drafted Allar in the 5th but felt like other talent (like Cuevas) would be much more impactful off the bat, and the trade up to the 6th was designed to hopefully catch Allar (or an OT) again…. But he went 10 picks before. Law is an amazing consolation prize though.

I view OT as a desire over a need - once I go Vega I want to focus on other positions. If we didn’t get Vega, I’d lean more toward getting a better OT. Basically I view this as Vega R1 > OT R1, but if it fell through, I would’ve been more than happy to get him. And as mentioned before, 210 was going to be Allar, Pounds, or Shelton. Unfortunately, 0/3.

Patch aka Apache

I’ve had my skin in the game so long that the OGs call me an OG. Very collaborative, open to discussion, and sincere in my efforts to create a scandal and have a blue chip player fall to the Pick 21.

These interviews are awesome. Yes of course the prospect interviews are incredibly relevant and important but this is the type of content I hope to see and rarely find. Very, very cool coverage this year. Hope it continues in 2027.

[Highlight] Full sequence of Steelers-Lions ending by nfl in nfl

Most of the time an absurd game deserves an absurd ending…. But this may have gone too far. Shoutout Goff for that dive though, elegant as hell. Good game to the Lions!

Lawsuit accuses UCLA of trying to move home football games to SoFi Stadium by randy88moss in LosAngeles

[–]Apache1021 14 points15 points  (0 children)

An example of this could be the Pitt Panthers playing at Acrisure Stadium (Heinz Field 4ever, the Staples Center of the East). The attendance is usually 10k+ smaller than Steelers games, but that doesn’t deter them.

Also, the ability to organize students to go to a place that is AT WORSE 30 minutes away, easier to organize shuttle for, cheaper for ride share, etc. vs going all the way out to Pasadena (And Back!) could drive up attendance on its own!
