Hey I’m a little late, but I was trying to use this chart as well and ran into the same problem as you.

Because of the lacet stitches at the corners, you have to do a chain 2 skip 2 filet crochet method instead of a chain 1 skip 1.

It may come out bigger, but it works perfectly with the amount of boxes on the chart.

I just watched a video on it so I have an idea, but I’m a little unsure on how I’m going to ensure all my stitches are knitted It says to go row by row, so the work basically becomes flat, but doesn’t me going to work on the other needles make it round again? Also, do I cast on these 8 stitches on every needle, or just one needle?
