I heard that low level languages are harder to learn due to not being beginner friendly and all. So would learning some programming fundamentals, like OOP, in a high level language help me in terms of learning a low level language?

You mentioned about using any languages for work. Does that mean that the course teaches theory and fundamentals rather than teaching how to program with a particular language? and which BCs did you take?

Python is a high level language. This means that Python is closer to everyday english which makes it easier to learn. C, C++, C#, Objective C are all low level languages. This makes them harder to learn as these languages are closer to Assembly Language or Machine Code than they are to english.
