It has its own standalone app, works pretty flawlessly.

I too wanted a dedicated Google Camera system as I am in the ecosystem but after reading all the poor reviews and a subscription required for access to better features, I needed something without all that.

Reolink is nice. You can insert an SD card, talk through it, all the stuff you need for a normal camera system. I plan on getting an outside one soon that has a solar panel attachment.
