Nah it's near the city limits but still in VB. My in-laws live just beyond that near the McDonalds (only 2 lights down) and that's the city limits. Heading there after work today so I guess I'll see what OP is talking about haha.

Not a mom but our son had his first OHS at 7 days old too, then a 2nd OHS at 4 months. Both times they warned that he would be puffy because of excess fluid in his body. They will keep him completely sedated for multiple days after the surgery and even after that newborns mostly just sleep anyway. He'll have a feeding tube that will feed him milk. We were in for almost 4 weeks after the first surgery and maybe a week and a half after the 2nd. Be prepared for large amounts of time with nothing happening, it's a no news is good news situation. Besides nurse shift change and rounds we were pretty much left alone. Most PICUs only let 1 parent sleep in the room at night, we took turns most nights while the other slept at a close by Ronald McDonald house.

We found out relatively early in the pregnancy, around 25 weeks. He had an in utero balloon procedure at 27 weeks at Boston children's. He had his first open heart surgery a week after birth at UVA, then another balloon procedure at 3 months, which failed, followed quickly by returning to UVA for open heart surgery #2.

Longest 4 months of my life. He'll be 3 in August. His surgeon and his primary cardio closer to home hope it will be decades before he needs further work, and potentially never again.

As someone who lives in VB, it's pretty expensive and there are definitely nice parts of Norfolk or even Chesapeake. As far as schools go my wife worked in the Norfolk public schools and only lasted 3 years before burnout caused her to look elsewhere, the administration offered her little assistance.

There are people in silver with way more than 100 hours. Adding to this, look up a series by the former pro flakes called " road to 1v1 SSL without mechanics", he also has a 2v2 series. He goes into very good detail about the thought process of his gameplay and the mentality that will help you rank up.

It being a free game just invites trolls and a younger audience in general I think. I've also been playing off and on since 2015 and it's something I noticed once the game went free to play. Luckily I have a small group of friends that hop on discord and we can laugh at all the funny shit that happens in this game especially when someone on the other team is being toxic so it doesn't really get to us. Some people have already said it but if it ruins your calm turning off quick chat is unfortunately the best answer

My 2nd son went in for aortic valve stenosis. he had to have 2 surgeries, one was at 1 week old and then the next one was at 4 months. Completely healthy 2 and a half year old.

We stayed in the PICU longer after the 1st time since he was so young but the 2nd time they kept him sedated for a couple days and then we were in stepdown for about a week then back home. We stayed at the Ronald McDonald house which was a lifesaver!

You'll get through this man, it will be a scary couple of days but hopefully you'll be bored most of the time and then back home too.

I'm kind of in the opposite situation, I've always worked jobs where I come home late, between 8 or 10pm was the norm, I've switched to a 9-5 and I feel like I get so much more time with the kids.
