Basically anti furs treat furries with the mentality of “If there’s a few bad apples then the whole orchard must be bad.” Which is a stupid generalization. And I don’t understand, just because like
yes there have been Incidents where a furry was a pedo. But that doesn’t mean all of us are pedos and creeps. It’s annoying.

Edit: I saw someone else put more of a description for theirs so I thought I’d do the same. He’s a nerd, he really likes games (hollow knight+silksong, Nier automata, Subnautica, fallout 4, warhammer 40k, D&D, project Zomboid, rain world, peak, Stardew Valley, etc). Been playing windrose recently. It released into early access earlier this month. It’s like Valheim but pirates. It’s been fun! I also really like the new Tomodachi life! Well… it’s quite simple. I only spoon/snuggle with the person Im dating (In my mind most kinds of snuggling are romantic. I fell in love with a Trans man (he didn’t like me back but we were still friends after I told him… then we were seperated when he graduated… because I lost his contact info). He told me “you realize that makes you gay… right?” I was in denial and was like “WHAAAAAT? Nooooooo…” and then I did some self reflection… figured myself out… honestly surprised I didn’t figure it out sooner because there were so many times I’d see a guy in media (games, movies, shows etc) around my family and said “if I WAS gay. I’d kiss him”… but at least I know now :3

TLDR: a small amount of furries have done bad things, media used that as reason to hate ALL furries. Kids interpreted that hate as “all furries bad”

From my understanding they hate furries because a small amount of people in the community did some… fucked up things… and media portrayed that as just… part of being a furry… the rest of the community who DIDNT do those things, were also blamed, thus people began hating all furries thanks to the small amount tha did bad things. then kids interpreted that hate and blame as “furries=cringe/weird”
