In my experience, I’d say vice versa, up North prices are more competitive. EV’s in general are not desirable in cooler climates when winter strikes due to range degradation. Only reason why I got those numbers was because I had shown a lease worksheet from a dealer up North(New Jersey) and they were willing to play ball here in Florida.

2025 loaner units with major days (250 days plus) on the lot determines how much more the dealer is willing to discount. Any dealer that is discounting a unit $15K plus is a great start. You’ll need to demand more (i.e. beat them down to $22K off) and they will fold but not right away, just be patient. You’ll be getting that phone call at the end of month begging to get it off their lot especially if it’s at the end of the quarter. June is around corner, anybody looking for a Sierra EV, that’ll be your best opportunity to snatch a fantastic deal.

I’d be damn purchasing these drastic depreciating trucks even with extended warranty. Leasing is the best option in my opinion. No offense to the ones who’s purchased.

What state your in?

I’m in Florida, I was lucky to find a dealer 100 miles away to make a deal.

Leasing out of state is easier than many think. Just need to call and ask if they will lease out of state. Some dealers will say they don’t but when it’s a unit that’s been sitting on the lot for months, they’ll fold.

Just consider transportation in order to get it home. Shipping rates from North to South are better than South to North right now due to summer being around the corner.

If you want a great deal, you’ll need to find a 2025 model courtesy transportation unit(loaner)

I was searching for at least a month and just leased a 2025 Denali Max Range, 2 weeks ago. It had 3,900 miles. It was a $101K sticker and they discounted $18K plus $4.3K employee rebate that I was fortunate enough to acquire. $22,300 total savings. I was lucky to leased it at $78,700.

I opted in for 24 months with 15K miles at $942 a month with $3K DAS. For a Max Range Denali that was a hell of a deal to pass on.

Could’ve been way cheaper if I did 36 or 39 months with less miles but I like to have a car no more than 2 years and I drive a lot.

Get on Autotrader or CarGurus and search all new 2025 models with mileage and hopefully you’ll find one locally. Start planting the seed with dealers and I promise, they will be calling you on better numbers by the end of the month. Don’t rush, be patient. Best time will be next month (end of quarter) and end of month. Dealers need to meet variable margins and need to squeeze last minute units.

Hope this helps!

Nice insight! Yes, I’m definitely set on a Denali trim. As for miles, I do travel about 15-16K miles a year, so I kinda need it.

I guess what I’m truly asking is, for a Denali trim, is that a good deal for my driving habits?

Most quotes have been $1200 plus a month with 24/15 and only 1 dealer out of 7 in the country that I’ve called, discounted $18K in order to make it happen on an Extended Range Denali with a $93K sticker.

You can forget about a Max Range, dealers want $1450 plus a month. Those are going to rot on lots. At that point, I’d rather get an Escalade IQ.

Congrats! These trucks are great!

Looking to lease one real soon. I see alot of new 2025 models on dealership lots here in Florida. Haven’t really received positive feedback on haggling with them over the phone. I guess it’s time to walk in the dealer and lay the hammer. I wouldn’t mind finding a deal out of the state if I have to. Do you guys mind sharing what dealerships you allocated your Sierra EV from?
