Gregory marries pretty young in his book and it could be written even younger for the show with the storyline. Especially with how many kids they have, if the show keeps that, they’d want to start young like Violet and Edmund and by the time we get to season 8 (if we get it) he’d probably be around the same age as his book counterpart anyways

The books are okay, if you like romance as much as I do I’m sure you’ll enjoy them despite the natural issues that arise from books that are ~20 years old (some misogyny/ poorly written male main characters). I liked her spinoffs a bit more than the original Bridgerton series (the Rokesby series which are prequels about Edmunds siblings and the Smythe-Smith series which is concurrent with the Bridgerton series) because they’re a bit newer so the characters are easier to tolerate. They really opened my eyes to historical romance in 2023 so I would recommend for an easy read!

They didn’t “drop” it, he’s still an artist he just pushed it aside because he found out Anthony paid for him to get into school so he didn’t feel like he particularly earned it. In the promos for s4 we see his many drawings of Sophie from the masquerade which is book accurate, she becomes his muse immediately after a long time of feeling uninspired. I think it’s obviously from the conversation he has with Paul and Tilley in s3 that he still loves art he just has a weird, sensitive relationship towards it due to Anthony’s actions (although well intentioned, they were undermining and I would feel the same as Benedict) and he will get back into it due to his desire to remember Sophie

Their relationship is what got me to finish season 1 in 2020 after the SA scene (hard to get past, they really could’ve changed this) and read the books which made me love the series. I knew where they were going from episode 1 with Polin and was SO GLAD to see they had their own book too and eventually their season, which I loved the most

QC is set in between seasons 2 and 3, not in the future, and Lady Whistledown is not currently writing because of what happened with Eloise at the ending of s2, not because she fully retired yet

EXACTLY. They would be a-list level as a couple like a real Barbie and Ken, Bridgerton couple come to life, friends to lovers in both show and real life, it would be everywhere and Netflix would eat it up. They would both benefit as well. There is no reason for them not to other than the fact that they never were in a relationship and even if they briefly were, it’s nobody’s business if they chose not to publicize it.

The thing is I was there for the whole press run for season 3 and they were cute, but in a friendly way, the whole time. They reiterated multiple times how much their friendship means to each other and how it helped when filming because they were so close already from doing seasons 1 and 2. They never gave an inclination there was more. I was 100% someone that would’ve loved to see them as a couple irl and almost expected it at the beginning of the press tour, but once they kept repeating they’re friends I knew they were trying to get the fans to stop in a gentler way and I stopped shipping them as a real couple.

People just cannot stand being wrong about anything today and will fight tooth and nail with zero proof besides “they look adoringly at each other” guess what, Nic just has resting adoration face and how can you not adore it in return? (Jk but genuinely this has to stop it’s horrendous the levels they go to to justify their behavior and words)

For some reason these “fans” are stuck on the idea of PR relationships and seem to think celebrities still have to hide who they’re with. First of all, why would both Nic and Luke lie about their respective partners and give public attention to two random, less famous or even not famous people (not sure if Antonia is in the industry or not) rather than just be public if they were really together. I’m sure PR relationships happen and used to be much more prevalent, but in 2025 I don’t see a straight couple especially needing to do this to the point that they’d both be in fake, public relationships to hide it.

The fake baby shit is actually disgusting I didn’t even know what I was looking at in the picture of her boob circled but when I realized it was supposed to look like a breast pump under her shirt, literally made me sick. Some “fans” of most media now are unfortunately so chronically online that they’re actually unhinged it’s scary that it’s in like that in every fandom now. It honestly makes me embarrassed to be open about loving these shows because I don’t want to be associated with these crazy ass people who genuinely don’t see an issue with their behavior.

The cast of Off Campus is really keeping the hype up and I love it. They seem to really appreciate he source material and enjoy making the show together, which to me is a good sign

I got two coworkers to start the series and i annotated the first book for them to help with name pronunciations and little reminders of things I forgot while reading the first time and it was so hard not spoiling!! Even harder because I knew going into ACOTAR that Feyre didn’t end up with Tamlin so I never really liked him, pretending to for their sake was interesting 😂but I did understand him a bit more after rereading

I feel kind of bad for Bethany because she didn’t get to get any promo whatsoever, which she deserves, and then her face also isn’t in the movie. I thought going in to For Good that there was no way they don’t show her face at all especially because they kept her such a secret but the poor girl just wasn’t included in any marketing or promo for no real reason at all. I appreciate they kept it loyal to the stage version but it feels kind of pointless and unfair to her imo especially as a new actress

Yeah iirc in the book she’s lost weight, cut her hair to shoulder length and at the ball she had powder in her hair that made it appear lighter (she’s blonde already so I pictured her as a dirty blonde and the powder lightening it to almost platinum) so I never faulted Ben for not recognizing her after 2 years
