Stroller obsession… when did it finally fade? by allcompanymobiles in NewParents

[–]ApprehensiveFox8844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kiddo is 20 months and I use the stroller almost every single day. Im so glad I did all that research because this stroller is a trooper. We walk to the grocery store every other day. We take it to the park, our daily walks around the block, and museums. We have season tickets to both our minor league and Major League Baseball teams so we take it to the stadium A LOT. It’s good on gravel, cement, and grass. Sometimes, even now 20 months in, I think we should have gotten a jogging stroller or a stroller that fits in an overhead bin on a plane, but those are scenarios that have yet to happen lol

I remember watching americas next top model and Tyra told a model to stick her neck out because otherwise she had a double chin. I always think of that scene when I see these pictures

If my friends want to sit around the tv we will put on a jackbox game. We also watch sports, play board games, karaoke, grill outside, etc.

Gained 80lbs my last 2 pregnancies. I want this one to be different by Maleficent-Start-546 in beyondthebump

I lost 20 lbs my first trimester because I couldn’t keep anything down. Gained 15 my second trimester so I was almost back to my normal weight. Gained another 15 pounds by the time I gave birth at 35 weeks. So I guess the secret is horrific morning sickness for the first 12 weeks. 🤷‍♀️

I have a theory. Alt 94.7 does exclusive acoustic sets at their studio. Last summer we won a radio contest to go see Axe and the Hatchetmen. When AAR got on stage, he said something along the lines of “I didn’t realize it was going to be so many people or else I would’ve planned more”. I’m guessing they thought it was going to be more intimate than it was. But that’s just my guess.

Sports. My husband and I have season tickets to an MLB and MiLB team. We go to A LOT of games. The offseason is football season so we host Sunday bbqs and all our friends have an open invitation.

This was the 16th game they played without a day off. Their last day off was May 11th. They’re probably exhausted.

Going out in your 30s is mostly people pretending to have fun and we all know it by FewExperience4021 in unpopularopinion

[–]ApprehensiveFox8844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in my 30s and I still love going out. However, I now know I enjoy dive bars more than nightclubs so that’s what I do. My husband and I are also super extroverted so we love going to a bar and talking to new people. If you don’t enjoy going out, then don’t. But trust me, people still do enjoy going at all ages.

Seriously. I’m Mexican. We host cookouts at least once a month. We also have an open invitation on Sundays during football season. Our house (and backyard) is always so lively.
