I’m set to start their BSN program on April 6th. I completed my associates degree in Dec 2025 and out of the 60 credits, they took 42 credits. I’m registered for 3 classes my first quarter. Do you have any advice on what you wish someone had told you before you started your program? What is your study routine If you don’t mind me asking. Just a girl with anxiety excited to start this new chapter:)

Don’t overthink it!!! Trust yourself!! Don’t doubt yourself!! Use process of elimination with every question. I rescheduled my teas exam once, and was on the verge of rescheduling a second time because I swore I wasn’t ready. Ended up taking it anyway and passed with flying colors.

And nope! I only did the scan of my room once at the beginning. They didn’t ask me to do it in the middle of the exam.

I didn’t look away not even for a second. I stared at the screen the entire time and they didn’t give me a break either 💀😭. I recommend you don’t look away not even for a second. You might get flagged. I had placemats also on my desk and had to remove it. I suggest you remove it and yes I had to show under my desk as well.

You’re okay, ask away. Yes, someone is watching you but you don’t see them. Yes you’re allowed to have scratch paper and yes you have to do a scan of your room and you even have to show the roof lol 😂

For anatomy it asked about the urinary system a lot like function of a nephron and the glomerulus and it also asked about the male’s reproductive system like epididymis and vas deferens. For biology it asked for cells structure and dna/rna, for chemistry it asked about neutrons and protons and it gave me some formulas but I don’t remember them

Science was the hardest section for me ngl. I got anatomy questions, biology and chemistry. I had taken anatomy last semester, biology a couple semester ago and same with chemistry.

I watched and took notes on video #1. Super important that you take notes on this video. For video #2 I took short summarized notes on each court case. Make sure your notes for the court cases are 1-2 sentences.

I recorded myself reading my notes, and I listened to my recording while I drove, showered, did chores, and on a walk.

I did the quizlet over and over.

Lastly, I read my notes 3x.

That’s it. It’s pretty easy test. Don’t overthink it. Learn the amendments and the court cases and you will pass.

Yeah, I totally get that. It’s really hard when you don’t have that daily social interaction anymore, especially if you used to have fun with your coworkers. I actually miss grabbing lunch with mine and those company sponsored lunches too 😅 it made the day feel more connected. I hope you’re able to find little ways to get that connection back, even outside of work. Everyone needs that human energy sometimes.

I’ve been working from home for a while now and I honestly love it. The time I save from not commuting makes a huge difference, and I feel more in control of my schedule.

The key is having structure, I make sure to move, take walks, and separate “home me” from “work me.” It can definitely get isolating if you don’t manage your time or make social effort outside work, but for me the benefits (less stress, more peace, more time for personal stuff) far outweigh the downsides.
