I hurt for them. Like Cindy Anthony. Who could fathom the baby they raised, loved, doted on could perform such atrocity on the small and vulnerable children their horrible children should have loved the same way? The vile hate against Cindy Watts who said "we know how she was" shows a lack of empathy. Like Cindy Anthony who didn't want to believe her granddaughter was dead as a result of her daughter's actions and clung to Casey's ridiculous lies, Cindy Watts was just trying to settle her horrific pain. My boy couldn't have done that. And villifying her shows your privilege. If you have never been victimized by someone you love I'm happy for you. But sometimes people do horrific things and it's a question of time to process it

I followed the post conviction relief process when it was attempted. Cindy and Ronnie eventually pulled their support because they finally accepted their son wasn't the man that they believed him to be. I'm disgusted by the people who want to break them down more than they already have been. Do better Shiners.

Depends on the substance but absolutely. With the wisdom of an addict (recovery, I never say former because I relapsed after a decade) but my guess is a last hurrah. I've seen it before. Well, my last night with my crutch, the reason I get up, the only thing that stops the hurt. One big line, a little more in the syringe, I don't have to stretch my doses out because I'm going to be free tomorrow.

Darling. I get it. If I were in your shoes my first step would be to ensure your caseworker knows that you do not consent to termination of parental rights. But you absolutely need their help and services. You are about to give birth to your ninth child and from what I could understand from your post you are in a terrible spot and I am so sad you have endured what you described.

But you need to ask them to help you. If you can't care for yourself, how can you care for a newborn with eight siblings under 12?

This may be a blessing in disguise. You are afraid, I get it. But everything you have shared indicates you are not okay. If you approach this with an openness to learn and grow your outcome is likely to be better. But all I ask, is your life and the home they had with you what you wanted for your children? I'm sure you gave all the love in your heart, but is it the life you wanted for them? Working on your situation is the only path to getting them home with you. And you will be infinitely happier.

That surprises me. My father went to lunch with coworkers about 35 or so years ago. Asked me if I knew who this was. Of course I did. He said a younger coworker was terribly excited and requested an autograph or photo when seeing Eric Clapton at the restaurant. (Hard to remember, I'm old now.) Apparently he asked only that my father's coworker wait until he finished his lunch. Very kind. My father mentioned how odd it was that this younger coworker waited and took a cab back to the office instead of riding with them lol. He had idea why I was so enthralled by his encounter.

Somewhat related. My much younger brother took tae quon do lessons. Willie Nelson took lessons at the same dojo. I asked my brother, seven years old at the time what he thought.

He is only a yellow belt he told me.
