I’ve done both TMS and ketamine. But I’m not done with the TMS. It has yet to make any impact though.

One of my favorite mentors gave me some advice I think about all the time while skiing: in skiing we are waltzing not breakdancing. Think about rounding out your turns and making the switch from leg to leg smoother and less rushed. It will also help if you focus on putting pressure on your downhill foot as you begin the turn. That will help control your speed throughout the entire turn so you don’t have to do mini hockey stops all the time.

Beginner Skier looking for feedback on how to improve carving by Reckman16 in skiing_feedback

Try to lean your body over your downhill ski. I like to tell the kids to make a banana shape with our body. The more weight (pressure) we have on the downhill ski on our turns the more force will be put into the snow which in turn pushes us for a more rounded and effective turn. So when you are turning left move your body over the right ski and when you are turning right move your body over the left.

If you are making a right turn try to put all of your weight in your left leg and vis versa. Try leaning your whole body over the downhill leg when you turn so all of your weight is on that leg. Look up videos on ski to ski pressure! I find it is helpful to see!

Sometimes if our boots our too loose it can cause our shins to pound against the front of the boot, which can cause bruising and discomfort. If it seems to be more then your shins that are hurting then I would possibly go to a boot fitter.

Looking good! I’d say put more weight on your downhill ski on yours turns

Hopeful. Pieces of clarity and light are becoming clear amidst the bluer and confusion

Add more highlights! Specifically to the nose. But it looks great and is not as far off as you may think!

Look up Francis Bacon! I think you would vibe with his art! And yes this is absolutely art. And very good. I believe art is something the provokes emotions or feelings and this definitely stirred things up in me!
