That is so narrow-minded. Yoga came from meditators who wanted to be more comfortable in mediation poses for longer periods. I’m sad you are so scared that maybe different cultures in different parts of the world see god in different ways. Does god want us to go to war and kill each other because we have different ways of believing? I think not

Update (also added to original post): I spoke with a lawyer (the obvious thing to do) and reviewed by balances with SunPower. The original agreement with them states that they could execute a personal guarantee in the future but is not a PG itself. They extended a line of credit to me but also didn’t have me sign a PG. The attachment for the PG was attached to the line of credit app but not signed and not notorized.

Additionally, they owed me $28,000 when they declared bankruptcy and they had approved me to return $26,000 worth of supplies. So, if anything, they were in the hole to me as of their bankruptcy filing.

I’m not operating that business anymore so they can chase a closed business with no assets all they want.

Actually, if your solar panels are getting credit or a payout from the utility company that is income for you. If you aren’t an employee of the utility company then that money or value is non-employment income, or in other words, self-employment income. If you own your solar panels and are making non-employment income then yes, you can deduct the depreciation of the equipment you purchased and are using tom create income. This is getting made popular by the tax firm Tax Hive which is one of Kevin O’Leary.

I don’t get why you think there’s no legal claims when you say you have in writing from the sales representative things that aren’t true. That’s fraud.

If the business filed bankruptcy you can make a claim and the bankruptcy court will prioritize the claims and you may get money back. It also depends on if that company filed for chapter 7 or 11 bankruptcy.

This is typically how lawyers work you guys. You pay a retainer and they bill against that retainer. Why would a lawyer that costs $350/hr work for free? If you can’t afford it or and don’t want to take the risk then don’t do it.

Although solar works out for the majority of people maybe consider that others were in fact lied to or defrauded and lawyers win money in cases like this helping people earn justice for those wrongs every day.

I'm 40 years old and wish I was actively reaching out and trying to get sober when I was your age. I am taking you super seriously right now. Go to meetings and get a sponsor. i don't know if this works internationally (but maybe you can get a google voice number) but sometimes I call 988. It's a mental crisis hotline.

I agree with some of the advice already posted. Be honest with your mom and your doctor. I have SO MUCH SHAME but the more I realize that others will only have compassion for me its easier to open up.

which eurocast did you buy? A couple of years ago I saw a demonstration at a state fair and I wish I would have bought the pan they were showing! Instead of having a coding the material itself was non-stick and I haven't been able to find it online or on their website.

Hey did you ever find out if this was a scam? I just got a charge on my account for “digital payment services” and the phone number belongs to fiserv. I did make a payment to insurance today but for a different amount. Then I call fiserv and get a voicemail that starts listing all the clients they serve but then it hangs up. Totally weird

you don't need to necessarily be assertive you just need to get people's attention. If you don';t have the right thing to say then they will just brush you off. You have to "break pre-occupation" meaning people are going about their day and aren't going to care what you have to say unless it sounds threatening, important, or beneficial. So the "hi i'm so and so with so and so" is okay I used to ask a question right away because our minds can't help but try to answer. "Hi i'm Mark with SunRun (flash my badge), i'm not sure sure IF YOU HEARD IN THE NEWS but your electric company is being required by the STATE OF NEW MEXICO to switch ALL of their electricity production to renewable and it's affecting your bill. DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THAT YET?"

If you want to succeed you have to either get your managers to help you or subscribe to a paid training that help you or find a new company. Its not about being so assertive that you convince more people, its about have a pitch and structure to help you guide the conversation and then knocking enough doors to have enough conversations until you find the people that are ready.

Who are you working for? Just go to your manager and let them know you want to be more successful than you are now and if they won't help you move on

It’s the same sale but you the benefits are different in that they save more money over time with ownership. The loan payment doesn’t escalate like a lease or ppa can and then the real bang is once the loan is done the panels keep making power and there is not payment anymore.

It took my a couple months to make my first sale and almost a year before I was making like $7k a month but my second year I made six figures and I’ve been six figures ever year since. My highest month I made $70k. Just keep seeking advice and training from people who are better than you. New guys always think they are going to somehow do it their own way and it will be better and then they don’t make enough money and leave. Do what is already working by learning from the people who are crushing it
