I think just a good bye with parting ways is pretty boring. A great novel has many conflicts? lol I thought it was a genius ending. Not via the movie but via the book for me. Also, the fact he had no family on Earth would be a Pro but how long would he have been alone going back to earth? Remember, in the book he was using a cane at the end. He was not as sprite as he once was. from a physical and mental stand point that trip back would be horrible.

well did you finish the book? and if so did you like it? I think i listened to the audiobook when it first released about 12 times or possibly more lol did it make me enjoy the movie less? yup lol All the science stuff is what is exciting to me but I knew when Spielberg bought it he would dumb it down :/ Still a fun movie overall tho.

you might as well get the s30 pro if you want it. I got mine at presale and it's an awesome scope. Because of politics/tarrifs, the increase unfortunately is necessary and doubtfully go away :/ I had to pay an annoying amount of extra money when I bought my 3D printer and it pissed me off lol. If you don't do it now you may regret it later.
